Villa Riari Garden

Posizione ottima per visitare Roma. Attaccato alla vita notturna di Trastevere ma incredibilmente silenzioso per riuscire a riposarsi la notte! A 10 minuti a piedi da Campo dei Fiori e da Castel Sant'Angelo. Se si vuole andare a piedi in Vaticano c'è un bel parco da attraversare e in 30 minuti ci si arriva. La camera sono arredate in modo semplice, la pulizia è ottima. Noi avevamo una camera doppia con bagno esterno privato (accappatoi, asciugami, lenzuola, kit saponi e ciabattine comprese).La struttura offre un giardino interno con prato, piante, sdraietti e tavolini dove potersi rilassare (c'è anche un grande recinto con due carinissimi coniglietti bianchi). Nonostante non ci sia scritto che danno la colazione, ogni mattina a fianco alla reception vengono offerti ottime brioche fresche, tramezzini salati, succo, the e caffè americano. Non per ultimo volevamo sottolineare la gentilezza di Marzia e tutto lo staff sempre sorridenti, gentili, disponibili h 24 per consigliarti nel vostro soggiorno a Roma Semplice GRAZIE!

The location is excellent, next to the botanical garden, walking distance to the fontanone, the Vatican, Colosseo, Trastevere, in a small alley which protects from traffic noise and roman chaos. Lots of interesting restaurants in the area, the closest one was excellent. The hotel provided a small but adequate breakfast with croissants and sandwiches and of course coffee, seating is in a lovely garden or inside. The staff is very helpful, friendly. The missing star is because the room is really small, hard to put suitcase somewhere usable. And there is no ac, not a problem in October but summer would be difficult. Would l stay again? Yes, in cooler seasons!

We booked a double room with private bathroom, paying nearly the same as a five-star hotel a week earlier in Rome. Our room was tiny, shaped like an L so my husband and I had to sleep on opposite sides of the L in twin beds. The room was clean, but important to note there is no A/C which we would expect of something being advertised as a 5-star hotel, and we didn’t know until after booking a non-refundable room through ***********. We weren’t too bothered except that to stay cool, we had to keep the windows open and fan on all night, and the mosquitos ate us alive. The walls of the room were dirty and scuffed and needed to be repainted. There was nowhere to store our bags without tripping over them since the room was shaped oddly.
