Fantastic stay close to Trastevere Fantastic stay at Domus Monami celebrating new year with family, likely best terrace view of the fireworks in Rome. House with long family traditions is excellent located in calm area, walking distance to central Trastevere with restaurants and shops. Best hotels hosts and services provided, can really recommend this stay.

Perfect stay in Rome This hotel made our trip. Stefano and Fabrizio were so helpful and accommodating. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and the area quiet and safe. Trastevere is a great neighborhood and close enough to all the sites you want to see that you can walk. The room was so charming and the highlight was having a glass of wine each night on the rooftop that overlooks all of Rome. Also, our hosts were able to schedule pickups to the airport and train station which made everything so much easier. Thank you again for making our trip perfect!

Stayed for 4 nights based on the amazing reviews. The apartments are full of character and so much history in the overall property. Bed was comfy and service great including a comprehensive welcome briefing. A breakfast box is included each day (which is great) but it did get a little boring after 4 days. The area is perfect for anyone looking for a more authentic stay and doesn’t mind walking. We found it ideal for both the Vatican and Colosseum ends of the city. Both within 30-40 mins walk. There was quite a bit of road noise at night so I’d suggest taking some earplugs. We were contacted before our stay suggesting we pre-book a transfer. The transfer was excellent however we then found out a taxi/Uber would have been almost half the price. Our check in included details of an app called FREENOW which allows you to prebook taxis. It was 40 euro back to the airport. Maybe this could have been better explained. Overall a great stay and would recommend.

Speculation Hosts. Spectacular Venue. Stephanie and Fabrizio were the very best hosts!! Welcoming, helpful, going above and beyond in every respect. We felt so lucky to stay at their former family home in a spectacular neighbourhood, with a roof top terrace overlooking room as the sun set. Loved the walk through statue and tree-lined parks in the morning, and through atmospheric restaurant allies at night. Could not have been happier to have made this place our home-base for Rome!

We had amazing stay at Domus Monami! Stefano was great as a host and even helped coordinate airport transportation. It’s a great area tucked in between the international embassies and very cute Trastevere neighborhood. The property has a rooftop with beautiful 360 degree views of Rome. Our room had two sets of double doors that look onto the garden, which we got to open up to enjoy an afternoon rainstorm. Would definitely stay here again!

Ihana loma Roomassa Hotelli oli todella siisti ja kaunis ja kodikas, aamiaisella oli tuoreita leipiä & herkkuja ja herkullista kahvia oli koko ajan tarjolla. Hotelli sijaitsee rauhallisen kadun varrella, ja huoneen sai kokonaan pimeäksi. Hotellin katolla oli upea terassi jota sai käyttää ja henkilökunta oli todella avuliasta sekä ystävällistä. Suosittelen ehdottomasti hotellia ja yävymme täällä uudestaan mikäli matkustamme taas Roomaan!
