Residenze Romanae - Vicolo Dell'Aquila

Beautiful apartment, great location, had everything we needed! The decor is gorgeous inside. Beautiful large mirrored armoire for storing clothing and bags. Sitting areas for sipping your espresso. Walking distance to many great restaurants, cafes and the Pantheon.

Some difficulties. It’s best when booking a room here to be aware of a few things. I was not and checked out 2 days early. Firstly, there are many stairs to climb, the bed is rock hard and being on a busy street it is noisy most of the night. The room was not terribly clean and it’s all very basic really. There is no check in desk and the owner will come to let you in which may involve standing outside the door until he can get there. If you are late from the arranged meeting time ( Rome traffic ) it could be a lengthy wait. Not recommended if comfort and accessibility are priorities.

We arrived early. Couldn't get in as the owner wasn't there. It was pouring with rain. So we had to walk the streets with our suitcases for a few hours. We then had to wait outside the b&b. He didn't arrive on time so I messaged him. Finally he said he was unwell and someone else would come to let us in. He should have told us much earlier.! The room was clean and tidy. Very comfortable beds. Unfortunately our bathroom was across the hall and the tea/coffee facilities were out in the hallway but it was ok ish. The B&B is situated close ish to all the places of interest, which is what we wanted. The inclusive breakfast was in a restaurant about 10minutes away. Lovely restaurant which we ate dinner in several times. Friendly staff. The breakfast consisted of a hot drink,a juice and a pastry, that's it! I'm dairy intolerant so couldn't have any! They did have soya milk for my coffee though. The weather cleared up and the days were warm. We visited the Colosseum, The Forum, The Pantheon, Trevi Fountain plus other interesting places using Tour guides in some. Such a beautiful city. So much history. I have mobility problems but i managed to enjoy my time in Rome with my boyfriends help. We absolutely loved it. We would love to go again

This place is a gem! It comes up as a hotel, and it's really a bed and breakfast. It is located conveniently close to everything you want to see. Pantheon 5 min walk, colosseum 15m, Vatican city 20 min. It doesn't get any better. We had the family suite, which includes a fairly spacious room with a queen size, comfortable, beautiful bed, and a pullout sofa, perfect for our two teen kids. The entry way has a couple of extra chairs, a small fridge, espresso maker, and a tea kettle. Compliments coffee, tea, and water bottles were provided. We didn't have to share a bathroom. Our bathroom had a shower with jets and a waterfall, toilet and a bidet, and a sink. The never ending supply of hot water is a huge plus! Also, breakfast vouchers and free wifi provided! The manager, Guido, communicated with us before our arrival. He took the initiative and reached out to us, to make sure he'd be there to greet us upon our early arrival. He made sure to be there early to check us in, so that we wouldn't waste any of our valuable time. What a customer service! Thank you, Guido!

Tout était parfait,le lieu,l emplacement ,les matelas incroyables...rien à redire...si: vivement que l on revienne! Et merci à Guido pour son accompagnement et ses conseils. Nous sommes répartis heureux de notre choix on aurait pas trouvé mieux
