Hotel Amadeus

The location is perfect. The front desk at checkin was friendly. The room is clean. We were not in the room much, and it was small, but served our needs perfectly. Everything is 5/5 … except the bed. My lord, what an uncomfortable bed. The “king size” bed is actually two thin twin mattresses pushed together on a very hard box. But otherwise, nothing but good things to say about this place.

The location is great for the public transportation. The first impression getting off the taxi was a disappointment, as the street was dirty, have some street vendors, and it had a lot of noise. What a relieved when we stepped into the hotel and our room, everything was clean. I have to thank Nuria the front desk lady. She was more than helpful and very friendly. Shout out to the kitchen lady as she was very friendly. The only thing was the air conditioning wasn’t working until we complained and got fix. . On my return from Amalfi we return to Rome. We booked another a hotel that it was so dirty and smelled awful. I couldn’t stay there and returned to Amadeus for my last few days. I recommend it due to the staff! Melba

I chose this hotel because of the closeness to the Roma Termini. We were in the second floor for five nights. Our room came with breakfast. The breakfast was not bad and it had the essentials. The lady in the breakfast bar was friendly and had everything ready by 7:30 AM. On our last day there was a new lady and she was running late. So only had coffee can cereal that morning. The area around the hotel is really busy. The noise level does not decrease till the wee hours of the night. The street vendors start setting up early. Our room was made daily and only one day I had to ask for toilet paper. The lady in the front desk was very helpful and nice. She spoke English and Spanish aside from Italian. The WiFi worked well. There is a really good restaurant only steps away from the hotel, in the same side as the hotel, in the direction when going to Roma Termini. There are small convenient markets and lots of street vendors. Also the Santa Maria Maggiore church is not that far away from there. I would stay here again because of the closeness to the train station.

Struttura nei pressi della stazione di Termini, molto comoda se si viaggia in treno. Personale gentile. Camera non molto grande e che necessiterebbe di una rinfrescata, ma pulita e ordinata. Lo consiglierei per soggiorni brevi. Sicuramente si può trovare di meglio in una posizione ancora più centrale agli stessi prezzi. La via dove è situato l'hotel non mi ha dato l'impressione di essere molto sicura, soprattutto alla sera.
