OYO Hotel Rome West GA

The staff are so excellent and friendly but the property is a little rundown but it’s convenient!

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Everything about this place is misleading. We arrived at this place after first looking online for a decent place to stay for the weekend, .when we first got there the lobby was dirty and when we got to the room we had to go out and buy our own cleaning supplies to clean our room ourselves. The pillow cases look like it had dried vomit on it. Pulled out the refrigerator and saw evidence of dead roaches where they didn't even bother to clean. Asked to speak to manager and calls were never returned. The outside pool was nasty. TO ALL LOOKING AT THIS HOTEL TO STAY. DON'T DO IT. NASTY!!!!!!!

Came to town for a visit with a old friend. Was a great hotel experience! The bed was very comfortable and the linens also crisp and clean. Plenty of towels and toiletries were provided as well in case you didn't have your own. I will let anyone know traveling through the area how great of a stay this Hotel is.

Traveling through and was late. We selected this from the Web site because it was a Baymont by Wyndham. Upon arriving my husband noticed trash and old rolled up carpet in the lobby. They couldn't print our receipt because the printer was broken. The room seemed cleaned, but the carpets was very stained, two light bulbs were missing, two lights didn't work, and one over the bedstead was broken. At 11:30 we were awakened by noise above us that sounded like someone moving furniture. Our room was next to the elevator and again at 11:30, the room vibrated from the elevator noice going to the top floor and it didn't stop until 2 am. We finally fell asleep at 2:30 and decided to get up early and leave. When we went to check out the lobby was blocked off so we had to go outside to get into the lobby. There was not breakfast or even coffee available. We made these complaints to Mr. Patel, the manager, and he gave us a noncommittal shrug. Basically what I'm saying is do not stay at this hotel. Next time I'm going to check the trip advisor reviews on a place.

looked ok outside even though was very dated hotel. room booked had man woman and teenager staying it unknown to manager at time. was told manager rents out rooms on cash basis (never heard of that at good hotels) did not get into room till after 7 so occupants had paid cash guess they thought no one was coming in. left out carrying their pizza when we tried unlock door. desk clerk was nice gave us another room. room was cleaned by soom one as usual but walls were dirty carpet stained .I sanitized everything before we would stay. very dark area of town did not feel safe. could not believe Baymont claimed this as their hotel. notice on desk at check in said would debit bank $50 upon arrival for damages, would return if all ok in 10 days to bank. Took pictures of room desk chair back was broken table legs loose , shower messed up, sink slow to drain, no glass in microwave. Paint dirty an peeling in spots bedding looked very old covered with our linens an pillows. will never book Baymont again . people nice motel crummy

Dirty (Curios hand and forehead marks) left on headboard of bed. Roaches spotted, cobwebs and very worn and hole filled carpet. Broken items in bathroom, empty vending machine duration of our stay. If you have other options choose them
