Leli Homestay is located at No. 6 Jinhui Avenue, Economic Development Zone, near Kaili South Station. We are adjacent to Xijiang Miao Village and backed by the ancient town of Xiasi, known as "Little Jiangnan". The surrounding transportation is convenient, about a five minute drive from Kaili South Station. The atmosphere is quiet, and the room design is ingenious. The quiet and beautiful atmosphere is easy to create.
"Upon arrival at Kailinan Station, the PIC of Leili sent someone to pick us up. She even recommended us places to go and to dine in Kaili during the short drive. To our surprise, all the staff of Leili are female! Wow, it was all girls power and we were so impressed of how well they have managed the homestay! The homestay is artistically designed and decorated,the ambience is so cozy, the rooms are so new and clean. Not forgetting, the staff are so enthusiastic and kind to share us some information about Kaili. The homestay even provided us with welcome afternoon tea sets which serves their local tea and midnight dessert (green bean soup). We just feel so home staying in Leili. =)"

"Fantastic hotel with exceptional service.
Mum and I stayed in this accommodation for 3 nights, and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has brand new rooms and facilities, and is clean. The staff are super helpful and courteous. Especially the front desk team. I don’t remember all of them, but team member number 26 was always smiley (they all referred to themselves in numbers, interesting practice).
The hotel location is between the city centre and the train station, close to the local art and crafts market (within walking distance).
Highly recommended activity is to visit Xia Si old town, where you can experience traditional clothes dying and painting technics that’s special to ethnic communities in Kaili."

"One of the most perfect stays I ever stayed at!😍 the view from my room was absolutely astonishing that it felt like Ai not real life😭😍
The hotel staff and management are amazing in helping with directions and the luggage. The hotel itself is located in the higher section of the village. So if you come do pack light and if you are an international traveler, like myself, with heavy luggage don’t worry there is a luggage storage at the entrance of the north gate✨

"I rarely spend my time writing reviews but the location of this hotel is in prime location located in middle of the mountain. It’s right next to the number 5 bridge which is dead center of the touristy area. After you book be sure to ask them for their WeChat so that you can communicate with you because they will come pick you up and drop you off before and after the trip. They carry all your luggage’s up and down the stairs. They are extremely nice and accommodating and the room is very clean. The view is absolutely amazing and the viewing deck is also very beautiful. Perfect for taking pictures. Not extremely crowded. For reference, I stayed in room 204. One small bed and one full size bed"

在千户苗寨住的這家民宿，直接把我的旅行體驗拉滿！還沒到寨子，管家小樺弟弟就提前發了路線指引，到門口時，他已經笑着等候，主動接過我沉甸甸的行李，一路熱情地介紹民宿周邊的景色。
民宿環境更是沒話説，木質吊腳樓風格滿是苗家韻味，庭院裏種着綠植，坐在窗邊就能望見遠處的梯田和炊煙，瞻望苗寨夜景，晚上泡個澡，看着夜景，特別治癒！
小樺弟弟會耐心解答我的各種疑問，還幫我推薦當地好吃的店。離開時，全程幫忙拎包領箱子，送我到路口，叮囑我注意安全。這樣環境好、服務又暖的民宿，下次來一定再住！"

"As a foreigner who cannot speak Chinese, it is not easy to travel Xijiang. The owner was really helpful to provide all possible assistance, not just for staying but for travel experience.
She came all the way to the entrance (~30 mins to accommodation).
I liked that the accommodation is at 10~15mins walking distance from main tour spots being a remote but accessible location. The owner offered to pickup by car anytime during the day as well."

Strategic location, old folks friendly as not much stairs to walk up/down between the shuttle bus station and the homestay. There're a few neighbouring restaurants that can dine in while enjoying the sunset although a bit pricey considering the food portions served. The interior deco and digitalised amenities make it feels like staying in hotel instead of homestay. Sound proofing is acceptable for us and no complaint as all on cleanliness. The young owners are friendly and contacted us for necessary arrangement prior to the stay. Do not hesitate to stay here.

Super helpful attentive staff met me after the bus dropped me off. They carried and rolled my luggage over the cobblestone streets and up 167 steps. Be prepared for steps with no handrails! My room was lovely it overlooked the beautiful village. Nearby was a delicious restaurant. Definitely visit the Intangible Heritage silver craftsman nearby as well. Staff sends sweet messages reminders and good morning messages. Amazing artwork! The staff carried and escorted me back to the local transport bus as well. Bath tub in room.

The family host is very nice , a bit straight forward but sincere.They keep asking why I did not wake up early to have their local home-made breakfast😳. The father ( I supposed ) pick you up at the ”small north gate ” which is about 1.5 km from the north main gate ( where you buy the admission and the tourist bus ticket ) and take your luggage to the hotel.. lucky me.
The hotel location is excellent ..up to the hill , so you need to walk up stairs say around 10 floor building high. The road was not smooth.
But once you check in to the room, you will get amazing view thru out the village from the mountain.The room is spacious, extra clean and well decorated. Very happy stay , I almost don't wanna go around just wanna sit back and relax at the balcony.

The hotel is located mid-hill with panoramic views as seen in my photos. Room was clean and service is friendly, there is a porter who helped to carry our luggage from the observation deck to the hotel after the shuttle dropped us off. The family room is very large with three partitions: kids room, parents room and a small living area with sofa and writing desk.
They also provide washing machine and dryer for self service. The aircon in the room provides both heating and cooling function which is very useful for cold nights on the mountain.
To get to the village Main Street where all the performances, restaurants and attractions are, you will need to climb down the hill and back up again to return. Hence it’s not advisable for those with very young children or old people with mobility issues to stay here.

Though it is in the centre of the town, foot path to hotel is narrow and uneven.
room is clean and upgraded to facing the valley, which lighted at night.
No food service in this establishment.
To get here, from North entrance, take the bus to the end. then walk 400m along the river, wait at the ABC (agriculture Bank of China) for hotel staff to help you carry the bag.
If you can not contact the hotel, proceed to next alley with few steps up, you see Fire Department and Firetruck, then turn left , there is a arch with Sign of Boyun hotel, turn right follow the sign up. not recommended for people with walking impairment /large suitcase/poor eye sight or rainy day.
We had our suitcase deliver to north gate . 15rmb each.

Thanks to Trip.com for this wonderful hotel. All of us (4 pax) LOVED this hotel. Very strategically located amongst food centers, shops and local activities. Views from this hotel is fantastic...accentuated by the river and lights at night.
Again, our stays exceeded the HIGH 5 Star ratings.... Ms Chen, Manager of the hotel is EXTREMELY helpful and resourceful in giving valuable suggestions thus making our stay, a delightful vacation. Well done, Ms Chen, an original Miao native and her efficient team, Ms Wu and others. Wonderful staff, including housekeeping... Definitely, will recommend to visit Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village and staying at Xijiang Story Resort Hotel is a Super Plus advantage. Note: attached are just few pictures taken from handphone of/from XSR Hotel.

老闆娘的服務真的太暖心了，全程笑容滿面，耐心解答各種疑問，還主動分享景區遊玩路線和避坑小貼士，像家人一樣親切，讓出門在外的我們倍感踏實。房間衞生超給力，每個角落都乾乾淨淨，沒有一點灰塵和異味，床品也清爽舒適。
設施一應俱全，日常所需都能滿足，最驚喜的是熱水！水流充足、温度穩定，洗完澡渾身舒爽，旅途的疲憊瞬間消散。性價比直接拉滿，從位置、服務到衞生都無可挑剔，下次來還選這家，已經推薦給身邊要出遊的朋友啦！
