"Location is good with eateries n convenience stores next and opposite the hotel. Staff is helpful and responds promptly to our requests. Due to the short time period we have, we could not have time to enjoy the additional facilities and special service/voucher offered in our bookings."

"Booked this hotel due to proximity to Mt Emei. Great location and tranquil environment around the hotel. There is a temple hiking path right at the driveway. Breakfast was plenty and focusing Chinese food, but enough items to survive as foreigner or dip into local food. Building 7 is newer than Building 5. They also have a hot spring building. Hotspring was included and a bit outdated but overall acceptable. Even tried the cleaning fish pool for an extra fee of 38RMB. Quite an experiance"

"Lovely hotel in the midst of lush greenery, mountains and river. Perfect location for some R & R. The breakfast spread was delicious and has quite a bit of variety - balanced selection of continental and local. We went during off peak, so the hotel was quite quiet. The location was good, near to eateries and convenience stores, all within walking distance. It is also walking distance to the Bus Station that goes up and around the mountain area. Very convenient and strategic location. It would have been a perfect getaway if the hot spring was indoors since it is too cold to dip in the pool in the middle of winter. Anyhow, I especially would like to compliment Ms Xiao Luo for her hospitality since she extended our check out time to 3pm to accommodate our train departure time. We really appreciate the consideration. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. I would strongly recommend it to everyone who wishes to visit Emeishan to stay at Holiday Inn Express Emei Branch."

"When we arrived at the hotel my Alipay died and I couldn’t pay the taxi fare! No problem.. a very helpful member of reception staff named Xu Ting came to my rescue. She personally paid the driver with her own money! (Later, when my Alipay recovered, I repaid her.) She then went on to organise a lovely room for us with a few extra touches such as a special bathrobe for my son (to go to the water park) and children’s toiletries. In fact, she couldn’t do enough for us and it was her excellent service that made our stay so enjoyable. The hotel itself is very slightly tired but perfectly adequate for the price, especially considering a good breakfast buffet is included. The location is excellent - a two minute walk to restaurants and the bus station to get up the mountain. The water park/hot springs was a lot of fun late at night with my son, but it was a shame some of the slides etc were closed. For the price I’m not complaining, but perhaps it needs a revamp. We planned to stay for only one night but after a long day climbing the mountain, I contacted Xu Ting and she once again sorted us a nice room and helped with getting our clothes dry! 5 stars Xu Ting."

"Small rest house with a restaurant at ground level (refer to attached photo). Next to the mid hill shuttle bus terminal linking to cable car station. Small bathroom with hot shower. Need to be careful to prevent excessive water flowing out of the door into the room floor. Suggest to install a low barrier at the front bottom door way to prevent water flowing out and damaging the wooden floor in the room. Nice gesture to wake visitor for sunrise and offer free use of hiking rod. A must have for 20-30 mins up slope walk to the cable car station. Next door is undergoing renovation work from 8am to 5pm currently. Not a problem as you will go up to the mountain during that time slot."

"Service: First of all, we arrived at Emeishan Station at 9 a.m. and had booked the pick-up service in advance. The hotel butler came to pick us up in a business vehicle. Although the hotel is just a few minutes’ drive away, this thoughtful service greatly enhanced the overall experience. Le Méridien Emeishan is positioned as a resort hotel with over 300 rooms. Since we arrived quite early, we initially thought we’d have to wait until the afternoon to check in. However, the hotel had available rooms and kindly allowed us to check in right away. The butler even gave us two cups of coffee and drove us around in a sightseeing cart to show us different room types. Although we had only booked a standard room, they upgraded us to a lake-view room with beautiful scenery. We really appreciate the hotel’s excellent service! Additionally, the butler gave us 10 bottles of water upon check-in, which was more than enough—no need to call for more during our stay. Facilities: The hotel grounds are quite large, and the buildings are low-rise. Guests staying in Building 2 may need to walk about six to seven minutes to their rooms. The hotel offers a lobby bar, reading lounge, gym, hot spring pool, swimming pool, and kids’ play area. The facilities are generally comprehensive, though the entertainment options may feel a bit limited for a resort hotel. The children’s play area includes simple slides, swings, and a small ball pit—fairly modest in scale. Location: About 2 km from Baoguo Temple and close to the shuttle bus station for Emei Mountain. Very convenient. Breakfast: Abundant and delicious, with the option to dine outdoors in a beautiful setting. Environment: The hotel is located next to Exiu Lake, surrounded by a scenic park with views of the Golden Summit (Jinding). The environment inside the hotel is also pleasant—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Overall: The highlight of this hotel is its outstanding service, which is undoubtedly the most important aspect for a resort. It would be even better if the facilities were more varied."

"Room is clean and has every amenities that is required such as hairdryer. The air conditioning was incredibly warm which was a very good addition. They also have mahjong, fitness area and hotspring which is nice to have. Breakfast is provided but it is pretty regular. Location: Location was good as we were climbing emeishan. Close to both emeishan and the train station. Service: Service was awesome they attended to us whenever we have any needs such as water, bathrobes etc. They have a wechat that you can always message and they reply pretty quickly"

"Super friendly staff and wonderful location! Minutes walk from the food street and the view from my room was stunning! Though the space inside room for dining is very limited, they have a nice common dining area with view to the river. The welcome fruit platter was lovely and the breakfast was hearty. Also enjoyed the free laundry room! Had my clothes washed and dried within hours (the washing machine has built-in in detergent dispenser). Would definitely stay again if I visit Leshan in the future:)"
