Red Roof Inn Rocky Mount - Battleboro

Said “budget motel” on Red Roofs site so I was Leary…. The only thing budget was the price! Newly renovated room. Property clean and safe. Staff very friendly. 99% satisfied (no bedside lamp) and will stay next time we come this way. Older but one of the best Red Roofs we’ve stayed at. Definitely recommend.

We did our halfway home stop here. The room and hotel was really nice and clean, everything worked, and the beds were really comfortable. We also had our large german shepherd with us an had no problems. My only complaint is we were woken up a coupleof times because of people revving up on the road at 3am 5am. And others talking out front, if youre a light sleeper id reccomend asking for a room in the back of the hotel. Otherwise we had a really nice stay here.

This hotel is obviously a recaptured relic of another cheap no-tell motel. Quick and cheap renovation job. The room only offers pump soap and shampoo. Tacky! The one lamp in the room did not work. This was disappointing. Ceiling lights were recessed 75W Flood Lights. Too bright and very harsh light. The floor was filthy. I took a wet washcloth and wiped the floor in the bathroom before showering and the rag was black. Yes, it was that dirty. Obviously they never wash the floors at this hotel. GROSS! 🤮 They refused to honor the internet offered rate. The clerk said it was a Saturday and Saturday’s cost more. Use another hotel if you can find one. What wrong with the Red Roof Hotel Management Team??? Clean this place up or continue to get poor ratings.

Stayed on way to SC on a Saturday night and on way home to PA the following Sunday night. Also booked rooms for daughters, one had a dog. Everyone was pleased with their rooms. Rooms were clean, beds are very comfortable. Being handicapped, nice to have a walk-in shower. Rooms had a microwave and small frig. I like the floors, easy to clean. Owners very nice. Thank you.

This motel is so new, fresh n updated! Enjoyed staying there, quiet, peaceful. Check in lady was awesome n check out guy awesome! We stopped at halfway point from PA to South Carolina n on way back checked in for the nite again! Highly recommend this Red Roof Inn! Clean n modern compared to other Red Roof Inn's in PA! Very affordable! Will definitely come back!

We don’t need much when traveling on I-95 but this was sparce! This area of Battleboro is isolated. As a woman, if I had been traveling alone, I never would have checked in. Even in the light of day the next morning when I walked the dog, the place seemed forgotten (the whole area not the motel per se). There’s a Waffle House next door, 2 gas stations with mini-marts & nothing else. At least one other hotel that had been in the area was now abandoned. Delivery was chain pizza only; even the Chinese food place that comes up when you search restaurants near me on your phone didn’t deliver. We had a room on the 2nd floor. There was new laminate flooring. The place was spotless. The bed had a sheet & a duvet but no blanket in the duvet. There were no spare blankets in the room. Each bed had 3 pillows. I grabbed the road-trip blanket out of the car for extra cover. We cranked the heat to be comfortable on a cold January night. There are no bedside lamps only the bright overhead lights. The walk-in shower was good & they gave you enough towels. Shampoo & soap were in dispensers mounted in the shower; soap & lotion were in dispensers by the sink. You get a microwave & a mini-fridge both of which looked new. It’s a very economical place but you don’t get any breakfast, coffee only.
