Wonderful stay!
The Claiborne is a charming getaway. Beautiful clean rooms with carefully curated art and antiques that enhance and warm the beautiful architecture. The hostess is warm and friendly and the hearty breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay there again when in the area. Charming town with an historic downtown with interesting restaurants and a wonderful music venue, The Harvester.

This was our second stay at The Claiborne Bed and Breakfast. We love the accommodations and breakfast was really good. Robin is a great hostess with attention to detail. We have booked two more reservations. We highly recommend for an enjoyable stay.

My husband and I stayed here when we attended a concert at the Harvester music venue. It was a great location as it was walking distance to the venue. Robin was welcoming and helpful.

This was our first time at a true B&B and it was PERFECT!!! Robin was an amazing host - she truly went above and beyond to make our stay 5 stars (I would give more if I could) the communication, the attentiveness and the food/drinks were so good! We went to a show at the Harvester Performance Center and loved the entire town - we can’t wait to visit Rocky Mount again and will be sure to stay at The Claiborne! It was darling!

A lovely B&B. Innkeeper Robin could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Clean & comfy, great breakfast. Loved that there were instruments for the playing. Walking distance to shops & restaurants. We went to Anastasia's Speakeasy for drinks & dinner & loved it.

Second stay
My husband and I stayed at the Claiborne last December and we liked it so much we decided to take another little romantic vacation here this year. Robin, the owner, could not be nicer. She always makes us feel right at home, and her breakfasts are amazing (especially the French Toast and Sausage Casseroles :) ). We absolutely love Anatasia's down the hill and the Farmer's Market. We will definitely be staying here again next December.

Wow! Can’t say enough good things about this place. So quaint and comfortable, the entire house is filled with antiques that were so interesting! The bedrooms are spacious and comfy. The breakfast was phenomenal
Sausage casserole, French toast, eggs anyway you like… the innkeeper was so kind and took care of every last detail.. honestly can’t wait for a return visit! Oh and her puppy Rocky was just icing on the cake

First and foremost, Robin, the owner was the sweetest, most gracious host!! We were late in arriving due to a missed flight and she was amazing in communication and understanding. She was a wealth of knowledge of the area as to where to eat and explore the Rocky Mount area and Smith Mountain Lake. The house took you back in time, beautifully decorated and charming!! Last but not least, the morning breakfasts were delightful. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for a fabulous stay, Robin!
