Pool area floor was really dirty… hot tub was very cloudy, full of sand, and whirlpool jets didn’t work right… Breakfast was okay.. Definite drug use going on by some of the guests… hotel elevator area reeked of **** every time we used them and I have a 4/7 year old… One guest was so messed up on something that he was slightly foaming at the mouth, almost fell over multiple times l, and spilled hot coffee all over himself… Staff was very nice and accommodating… Room was clean enough which was most important to me, but I wouldn’t stay here again based on the experience.

Very disappointed. I do not recommend at all. . Linens on bed were wrinkled, possibly slept in. Mattress was lumpy. Mold in the shower stall. Lamp light bulb burnt out. On the positive the front desk staff were nice. The hot breakfast was good.

No welcome at the desk. No recognition of award status. Two empty tissue boxes in the bathroom. One working ice maker in the four storey hotel. Pool has no water. Low old toilets. Lots of road noise. Leaking AC and wet carpet halfway across the room. When the front desk was advised and we asked for a new room, no apology, no offer to help move. Business center is closed. This place is having serious issues in maintenance and staffing.

We've stayed at no less than 6 different Hampton's all around the midwest. This has to be by far the worst I've seen. Our stay at this hotel was for 3 nights, Thursday thru Sunday. While normally they come every other day to refresh the rooms nobody came at all. As expected, our trash was overflowing. There wa no coffee maker in our room, and the area behind/under the tv was GROSS. I'm not sure how long the food had been under the tv, but it def wasn't ever cleaned. The fridge did work great! In fact, it froze my food. Breakfast was about half what it normally is, with no orange juice the entire stay, no waffles the last morning, and had to wait for coffee /eggs multiple mornings. Our room's ac did not connect to the thermostat, and fell about 2" out of the wall. I notified the desk and it was (mostly) repaired when we returned. This hotel has no laundry which is unfortunate as we were there for soccer and require washing uniforms multiple times. The outside was NOT well kept which was extremely noticeable due to this being located near 4 other hotels with well manicured lawns. On day 3 finally a landscaping company came to hack the 3 foot weeds that were everywhere but only after they stopped inside to help themselves to juice and food from the breakfast area. Overall, it looks like there has been some updates to this hotel, but not enough to meet the standards of a Hampton Inn. With no laundry, broken AC units, old LOW toilets, wrecked carpet in all the common areas, and old windows that let sound in this was a disappointing stay. Staff did get things done when requested, but I felt like I was imposing by asking. Would i stay again? Probably not as there was at least 3 other hotel options next door that were cheaper and nicer. Truely Unfortunate this hotel hasn't had the care put into it that most Hamptons have.

This hotel is nestled in a grouping of alike structures in an area off the interstate in Rockford. It can be troubling to find it, since there are so many and this one is not on the main road. Having said that, it is a good hotel--one that will guarantee a quiet night's sleep and comfortable accommodations.

Worst Hilton property experience ever I am a diamond member and booked this room 2 1/2 hours prior to arriving last night while traveling. It was 11:40 pm — we were tired from driving through rain. Upon arrival — not only was the outside unkept but the Hampton Inn sign was not even lit. Cracks in the pavement. Weeds grown up. At the front desk I was informed that we had been placed in a handicap accessible double bed room - even with a booking and confirmation of a king room. Also - there is a $150 pet fee. What the heck?!!! The room rate was $111.86 after tax. Literally just needing a few hours of sleep before back on the road the next morning. I asked for a refund at the desk and was told it would have to be handled by manager the next morning. We drove a few miles down the road to a Home 2 Suites at Loves Park and the contrast couldn’t have been more glaring. Bright, clean -friendly front desk -as we wearily walked in after midnight. It was a wonderful experience at Home2Suites. They did tell us they had heard many horror stories about this Hampton Inn

Do NOT stay here if you have a pet. The pet fee ($150.00) was more than our room fee for the night ($135.18). Otherwise, clean and a nice hotel. Will most likely tear up my virtual Hilton Honors account after being charged this hotel's egregious pet fee.

This is the absolute worst hotel in the Hilton chain! I reserved a room through the Hilton app. We arrived at 10pm as we said we would and the woman behind the desk stood there for over 5 min before she even acknowledged me. She then asked if I was checking in and for my name. After I gave her my name she said, we are fully booked. I said I have a reservation and a confirmation number, she just kept repeating ‘we are fully booked’. I asked for a number to call and she said ‘we are fully booked’. It was 10pm and all the hotels in the area were booked. I can’t believe I made a reservation got a confirmation on the app and 2 emails confirming my stay and I was denied a room! The customer service here was subpar.
