Situated about 500 m from the old town centre of Roccastrada, LaFornace lies ina quiet spot with a nice view. Furnished with warm and modern pieces, the house is ideal for a quiet and pleasant holiday. Outside, guests may enjoy the use of the private 5x10 m swimming-pool.The medieval town of Roccastrada has all the main types of shops and close by you will find places to try typical Maremma cooking or buy local products. The Chianti area is approx 50 km away, many characteristic and traditional towns in the area merit a visit. we had wonderful days at La Fornace. Absolutely beautiful cottage with pool. Perfectly furnished in a very quiet location and yet only a few minutes into town. Super nice and helpful hostess. It was just perfect for us. Brilliant views of the Maremma all
