Wonderful hotel right by the beach. The master suite was beautiful, with high ceilings and a great view. We loved the pool, including the pool noodle floats and multiple depths for kids, as well as the hammocks and easy beach access from the rancho. Dinner at the on-site restaurant was one of the best of our trip, and Tony was more than happy to answer all of our questions. Highly recommend!

Casa Guardia is an exquisitely charming place. The food is delicious and the staff is attentive. Tony and his parents Rick and Karen are lovely and welcoming. Very homey feel with private access to the stunning beach. Beautiful, quiet, well manicured surroundings. Quite a collection of books on site if you enjoy reading. Make sure you make your up to the magic banyan tree!! If you are looking for some serious rest and relaxation, this is the place for you! It’s a gem!

The description of this as a beach paradise is 100% accurate. It is extremely peaceful, has its own very quiet beach, and the owners and the staff are all very gracious and helpful, but not overbearing. In other words, when you need something, they are immediately responsive and when you are just hanging out, they don't intrude in any way. This is a bed and breakfast, and not a resort, so you decide your activities each day. However, they do have the ability to book tours and day trips if that is your thing. The restaurant on site, Tico's is also fantastic and easily one of the best in the area, and on any given night, could be the best. We spent four nights, and enjoyed the peaceful beach and beautifully manicured grounds and gardens each day. The beach is excellent. A little further West, there are large resorts where most of the people hang out. On Casa Guardia's end of the long beach, it is much more private and quiet. We hope to make it back down again next year. So, you can walk down and be around people if you want, or you can just relax in peace on the Eastern end of the beach and have the occasional couple or person stroll by.

Très bel établissement, "comme à la maison" - luxueux, avec un accueil chaleureux et personnalisé offert par une famille d'hôtes américano-suédo-panaméens. Ce n'était pas le plus cher hôtel de notre séjour panaméen mais c'était de loin celui qui nous a laissé les meilleurs souvenirs. Pour nous qui n’affectionnons pas les décors neutres hyper standardisés des grandes chaines d’hôtel, nous avons beaucoup aimé ces vastes chambres décorées avec des meubles en bois, de bon goût et local! Clim réglable et salles de bain impeccables. Excellente nourriture tant au petit déjeuner (en partie buffet, en partie à la demande) qu'au restaurant le soir. A proximité immédiate de la plage (à l'extrémité Est de la plage). Lors de notre visite, la piscine venait d'être arrachée par des intempéries, mais ils avaient rapidement trouvé une alternative en faisant installer une grande piscine hors sol qui a fait le bonheur des enfants (et des parents!). De beaux jardins, et un beau salon extérieur, avec vue sur océan, entièrement équipé, qui permet de profiter de l'espace extérieur tout en s'abritant des pluies occasionnelles. Et ce serait oublier l'essentiel que de manquer de souligner la qualité du service, tant des propriétaires que de l'ensemble du personnel. Merci pour les beaux souvenirs que vous nous avez offert. On reviendra sans hésitation.

Anyone staying in this area would love this gem! It was perfect for me and my five teenage children. We enjoyed ping pong, dominoes, the pool table, giant jenga, the basketball court, the swimming pool, and the ocean. I know where I’ll be staying if ever I return to Panama.

Starting to show its age, still a great place to stay or dine.Easy to find just turn left at the Decameron and go two hundred meters.expect to be served on Panama time but worth the time to meet Enrico, his wife, and Tony.
