Firstly I am not usually the type of customer to complain, however, I booked a stay for my partner's birthday treat on 15th Sep, upon arrival we walked through to the lobby straight away we saw a French customer arguing and pacing up and down with staff which didn't create a great first impression, as we were being shown to our room (room 15) the same customer then wished us luck and laughed, we thought what's her problem? seems like a nice hotel. We then decided to visit the hotels restaurant downstairs The Gate, as we waited for our drinks we then witnessed yet another customer kicking off infront of us with the manager... we also saw the French lady again who served herself her own plates of food rather than the staff! we then became a bit worried of our choice. After this we went out and came back in the evening, the moment we laid down we could feel stings and itches happening in different parts of bodies! we didn't get a wink of sleep due to this, we actually tried to endure it for a couple of hours thinking it may pass which it didn't until finally we decided we cannot stay here at all, we left feeling overly tired from getting no sleep, feeling let down and angry, we told a member of staff early hours on check out who didn't seem to care, just sent me a bill for the room, I then phoned a few times the next morning no Manager available, I then received an email from Milena asking what my issues were and how she can assist, I emailed over photos of bites/marks received, explained what a terrible night we had, and we were refused our refund and told they do not have dustmites and will give me a discount on our next stay! Of course we will not be visiting here again. We saw our doctor the next day who confirmed these are dustmite markings. Terrible customer service and a terrible creepy crawly night. If you want luxury this is not the place, we now understand why we were wished luck!
