Hotel El Jardín de Eugenia

La situation de l'hôtel, coincé entre la route nationale et un parking public, n'est pas ce que l'on peut rêver de mieux pour un séjour balnéaire. Ne comptez pas sur la qualité de l'accueil (à la réception et plus encore au petit-déjeuner) pour vous rendre le séjour plus agréable. Au demeurant, les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables même si un peu vieillotes (armoire qui grince en particulier).

Jardin de Eugenia is easy to find and is on the main road into town. There are only about four parking spaces but if you drive past, with the hotel on you left, the first turning on your left takes you to the large, free public parking by the bus station. Check in was lovely and the hotel has a unique and nice feel about it. The rooms are individually designed and decorated, but as I am not au fait with the art style I can simply say that ours (Tamarind) had a bare, minimalist look with old, brown furniture. Arty or not,the important things are that the room was clean and comfortable, and the en-suite was smart with a superb shower. There is a lounge downstairs as well as a comfortable outside terrace. Breakfast was very good and you simply choose what you want from the menu and it is brought to you. We had juice, fresh melon, a plate of cheese, tomato toast, eggs and bacon, crusty bread and jam and good coffee. There’s are also croissants and home made cake, but we never had room for those. It was all very good. The bottom line is that this is a very nice hotel with an easy parking option and is only a short stroll into town. We would happily use it again.

Difficile da trovare perché si trova vicino ad un bivio e non è segnalato sulla strada. Piccolo parcheggio , c’è una scala esterna, ma dentro c’è l ‘ascensore. All’ingresso ti viene incontro il padrone di casa a 4zampe che resta indifferente con mia moglie, ma resta sospettoso per tutto il tempo tenendomi sotto controllo continuo, ma a distanza. La proprietaria gentile e affabile, stanza normale, niente rumori, colazione buona un lungo elenco di cose che la proprietaria prepara al momento. Se ripasso ci ritorno.
