Stay Rhodes Hotel

Great stay at Rhodes! Very convenient location, walkable to many nice restaurants. Breakfast is not included in my booking, but they do allow guest to dine in. Stunning sea view from room!

Lo staff dell'hotel è giovane e disponibile, parlano diverse lingue tra cui l'italiano. Con noi sono stati gentilissimi sia i ragazzi della reception che le ragazze al bar. L'hotel è in una posizione molto comoda e strategica, a due minuti dalla spiaggia di Elly. Noi avevamo noleggiato la macchina e non abbiamo mai avuto difficoltà nel trovare parcheggio. La stanza bella, spaziosa e con tutto il necessario: non c'è il frigo ma su ogni piano c'è un comodo e sostenibile dispenser di acqua fredda che noi abbiamo utilizzato molto riempiendo le borracce. Colazione abbondante e con vasta scelta. Una sera in cui eravamo particolarmente stanchi abbiamo anche cenato al ristorante dell'hotel, con prezzi onesti e ottimo cibo. Rapporto qualità prezzo perfetto, consigliatissimo!

Really clean hotel with very friendly staff. There was a 24hr reception which was very helpful. You can hire irons and beach towels which is handy if you forget anything. The hotel room itself was quite spacious and clean with a balcony. The bathroom was very small and would benefit from having a floor squeegee to help with water on the floor after a shower. The only other thing was you can hear people walking past the room so maybe some soundproofing would be beneficial. Overall though, it is a nice, safe hotel in a great location in the old town, everything is so near.

Da dove cominciare? Forse dallo staff: sono tutti incredibilmente gentili, ci hanno riempite di ottimi consigli su dove andare e dove mangiare, sempre pazientissimi nonostante le nostre continue domande. Ci siamo sentite coccolate dall'arrivo alla partenza. Il nostro volo arrivava a Rodi molto tardi, ma ci hanno comunque aspettato per fare il check in. Parte dello staff parla italiano. Struttura meravigliosa, nuovissima, con tanti spazi in comune: lounge room al piano terra, una sala al primo piano con tavoli per co-working, che viene anche usata per il corso di yoga, ampio bar al piano terra, con poltrone e divanetti anche all'esterno. L'intero albergo profuma di nuovo, tutto è molto curato anche nella scelta dell'arredamento e dei colori. Vengono offerte moltissime attività come escursioni, serate quiz e karaoke, happy hour. La nostra camera era un po' piccolina per tre persone, ma davvero graziosa, con un bel quadro che spiegava i significati degli occhi greci porta fortuna. Balcone con vista mare (anche se tra un palazzo e l'altro), armadio senza ante, bagno con doccia senza piatto, quindi il bagno si allagava un po'. Al nostro piano era installato un boccione con l'acqua ( che veniva tempestivamente riempito non appena vuoto) e in camera c'erano a disposizione una caraffa e dei bicchieri. Se tornerò a Rodi, tornerò senza dubbio qui!!

My friend and I had a great time at Stay hotel. Firstly the staff are brilliant, absolutely all of them are friendly and helpful. There are so many fantastic little touches that make it so nice to stay here. There are water coolers on each floor so that you can fill up water bottles with cool filtered water at anytime. They provide an ice bucket so you can have ice in your drinks in your room, or on your balcony. Such a wonderful thing to provide. Our room was clean and fresh looking and the air conditioning worked really well and was not noisy. We found that there was enough hanging space and drawers for our 6 night stay. Could have done with a few more coat hangers. But we didn’t actually ask for any more so maybe they could have provided more if asked? I had paid for a sea view room and asked if we could have a room with a really good sea view. The room we were allocated fit the bill perfectly, room 55. There is a kettle and a mini fridge in each room that worked well and was so lovely to wake up and have a morning cuppa on the balcony with fresh milk bought from the supermarket, literally next door. Cleaning was done daily and we were there 6 nights and our bedding was changed once. The towels were a bit hit and miss. Some were white and fluffy and some yellowing and a bit scratchy. Overall the cleaning was good and the ladies were lovely and smiley. I left E10 for them on our last day and they came to say thank you, which I thought was very sweet of them to do so. Both my friend and I said we would definitely stay here again. There are things that could be improved…..we asked if we could pay for a late check out but this was not possible as the hotel was fully booked for the following day. Our flight was at 23.45 and our taxi was booked for 21.00. That meant we had 10 hours with no room. It was a long day as the weather was quite hot. We could use the lobby area to sit and relax but it was a little crowded at times. There is a room that was not used much, behind the bar area, which could have been made nice for guests in this situation to use. It had a TV and Air conditioning unit with comfortable seating. Neither was on and it did not look like people were expected to use this area so we didn’t. Again we could have asked but didn’t think to do so. The towels could be upgraded. An information sheet would be nice with details of the bank location and opening times, taxi numbers, information about the hop on hop off bus stops and other bus routes nearby, excursions that provide pick up services, hotels that allow day visitors to use their pools, etc Overall it is a lovely hotel , in a good location, with great staff. We will be back.
