We stayed at Sun Beach Resort in July 2025 as two families (4 adults and 4 teenagers aged 15–17), and it was our first time visiting Rhodes. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it for families with older kids or teens looking for a relaxing base with good facilities. We booked studio apartments which were spotless and well-equipped . Each had a fridge, safe, kitchenette, and flat screen TV, which made it easy to do breakfast or snacks in our own time. The rooms were comfortable, practical, and ideal for a self-catering stay. The infinity pool for adults was a highlight . Very peaceful and perfect for relaxing , while the teens enjoyed the larger pools and the beach (do bring swim shoes as it’s pebbly). The resort felt safe, clean, and family-friendly, with plenty of space and quiet corners. The location was ideal . The hotel is in a quiet, peaceful area, but still just 10 km from Rhodes Town, with regular buses and taxis available. It’s also a short drive from the airport, which made everything easy from the start. We chose to go self-catering, and were really pleased with the variety of nearby restaurants serving something for every taste and budget, from casual snacks to lovely Greek tavernas. We also tried the hotel restaurant, which was surprisingly tasty and affordable, especially for evenings when we stayed in. A few small drawbacks: Sunbeds were often reserved early, which made finding a spot tricky unless we were up early. The on-site shop was very slow, even for basic items were a bit frustrating at times. That said, these were minor issues in what was otherwise a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The resort worked really well for two families with teenagers, and we left feeling refreshed and impressed. Would definitely return!
