Mercure Rhodes Alexia Hotel & Spa

All was great!

Lovely hotel. Only 10 minutes walk from the old town, and near lots of restaurants and bars. Our favourite was only a 2 minute walk away, and that wasn’t even the closest! The hotel has nice sea views, particularly from the upper floors. I had room 618 which was a corner room and perfectly situated. I think the upgrade to the prestige rooms was worth it for the higher floor. Also the illy coffee and soft drinks in the fridge were a nice extra touch. There is some construction next door but this did not detract from our stay at all. The hotel is spotless clean, and very efficiently ran. There were no waits at reception at any time and any request was carried out swiftly and with pleasure from the lovely friendly ladies on reception. Very professional and slick well done! Breakfast was great, no waiting time, fresh and plentiful buffet, and indoor and outdoor seating. Good value for money. We booked direct with Accor. The tourist tax of £10 per night was helpfully already included in the room rate, but changed separately on arrival. The bar restaurant was amazing. The food and service were incredible. Special thanks to Alex and Stavros who made us very welcome and were so kind, helpful and service focused. Fabulous table service as you moved around the pool and restaurant. Would 100% stay here again and will try other Mercures on the back of this visit.

Had a wonderful stay from the warm reception to checkout. The staff is so welcoming and kind. The entire hotel is very clean, rooms are large & comfortable with good beds and a nice bathroom. The breakfast is a nice selection of bread, rolls, toast, pancakes, egg dishes, yoghurt, jams, candied fruits, vegetables, warm hearty and sweet pastries, fresh cakes, juices and coffees. And the location right off the beach and so near to the old city is just perfect. I enjoyed the hotel so much i already booked my next stay where i'm bringing my 79 yr old father with me too.
