Good infrastructure but terrible service. This is more like 4-star hotel with 3-star service. The beach is well equipped. Breakfast is limited compared to real 5-star Hilton but you can live with that. Rooms are old but not too old. Infrastructure as it should be in 4-star hotel. But all about service is more like 3-star. Our room wasn't made up for two days even after I specifically called and reminded about it. They said 'we have too many guests now'. That I guess mean that we do not have time for you? When you ask to bring you another coffee on the breakfast - they just ignore. When you remind, they say that they have too many guests. I'm not arrogant and I can pour my own coffee. But there is no such option, you need to call a waiter. Which simply doesn't carry it. The same with vine on diner. You can wait half an hour to get your glass of vine. Room service - wait enternity. When you remind you get the same answer. The furniture on the balcony of the room stained a lot of our clothes when we sat on it. That's why we just didn't sit on the chairs on the balcony. When we asked to change the chairs we were ignored. If you don't care about service and just looking for a good beach - it is a good place to go.

We had a lovely holiday here - lots to be positive about- we enjoyed the food though there could have been more choice. We ate at the Italian and that was really lovely! Some supply issues- fresh fruit selection was not always replenished nor the ice cream- who runs out of vanilla ice cream on more than one occasion! The orange juice at breakfast did not seem to be fresh- this is disappointing for a 5* hotel. The ice cream/crepes were great- though why open at 6pm- every kid wants an afternoon ice cream! We thought the drink selection was great- branded soft drinks which is fab and lots of branded alcoholic drinks too- this was a real plus! Service in the restaurants was quick- we always had a table but the restaurants never seemed very busy which seems strange as there were plenty of people in the hotel! We had 2 rooms- one being one of the larger Mediterranean rooms with 2 double beds- rooms were spacious and the beds really comfortable. However- this is a 4 star hotel and certainly not a 5* The AC is set to be climate friendly - which means you can’t set it lower than 22 degrees- ours also turned off and did not turn back on when the patio doors were opened- this was a pain as it sometimes meant it was off all day after the cleaners had been. We found if you override the setting and turn it to 3 on the auto button then it actually kept the room cool at about 19.5degrees which was lovely but a 5 * hotel shouldn’t be dictating what temp your room AC is. House keeping wasn’t brilliant- we were short of towels on a couple of days and had to request more- fridge was not restocked until we chased. Room was not cleaned at all on one day even though we had left the button green for the room to be done. The iPad message system to reception does work well though and they acted on most issues except the lack of room cleaning which wasn't mentioned on check out. There were none of these issues with our second room so I guess it is a bit hit and miss. The rooms look lovely but as other reviews have said it is style over substance- shower fittings are discoloured and the grout needs replacing. Our lighting in our room was very dark and whilst I appreciate the atmospheric design it isn’t particularly practical. Our daughter’s room had no proper mirror ( apart from in the bathroom) when they asked if there was another one they could have they were told that wasn’t possible as the hotel was full- this wasn’t true as we could have booked lots of different room types on the website for that night- they were also told the hotel doesn’t have full length mirrors in any of the rooms which is strange as we had one in our room! That sort of customer service is just not good enough- we spent a lot of money on this hotel and are frequent Hilton guests and this sort of response was unsatisfactory. It was that bad we moved hotels within 24Hrs. I can say that we have never stayed somewhere and had to move hotels. Do not be fooled by the photos and the pictures of reception. This is run down, under staffed and dirty. The food was awfull and the attitude of most staff was unexceptable. Everything is help yourself, staff are only there to relay the tables! Dont dare to ask questions or for anything! There is only one bar at night which has one of every spirt no premium brands and all held around a court yard which was infested with mosquitos. There was no effort to even help with the swarms,no candles or deterent. I was bitten to pieces on my first night so many times i looked like i had chicken pox. Everyone was walking around with repellant in there hands. Do not expect a comfortable or clean seat as there arent enough to go round. We had a room with its own swimming pool and garden area. So run down and dirty. The pool was covered in insects and had a green rim all the way around. The paint was peeling, it was disgusting. The sun loungers were filthy and the whole area un loved. Patio was dirty and grime. The bathroom is the worst i have ever been in. Dirty dosent describe it, window falling off, cracked tiles, plugs coming out the wall and the drains were disgusting and the smell made you heave. The following morning went to breakfast, that was not a plesant experience with food or staff. A lady moved table because of the wasps and the waiter was rude! Went to the the pool where the sun loungers where filthy. No towels. When we asked we were told we had to wait because they were being turned round in the laundry. What was meant was the were being washed and we had to wait for them to come back. Why does a hotel nothave enough towels. We waited over a hour and still no towels. At the pool bar chairs were missing cushions or there werent any. And if there were the yet again were disgusting. The pool was run down, dirty and paint peeling off it. It also had green slime. We went to the burger hut, forget it! The poor lady was sweating under the heat. The food was inedible. The ice cream palour was not open all the time we were there. After walking round the hotel which was rundown, dirty and very unloved. We spoke to concerige. We sat in front of her and eventually she put down her phone. The most un interested and rude person we had met. Just didnt care as if this was normal. We decided to move hotels, which saved our holiday from being a disaster to a great one. We booked with Sovergin Holidays and the moved us with in 3 hrs after sending photos etc. All i can say is do go here, so disspointed. I cannot express how run down and dirty this hotel was. Do not waste your hard earned money on this hotel. Hilton and the managers of this hotel should be ashamed that they even advertise this as they do, totally mis sold.
