Regent Hotel Revelstoke

This is a beautiful and cozy atmosphere hotel. Friendly staff. Beautiful room. But, the beds didn't do us good. The mattress was much too soft for us... Breakfast was nice. No cheese or vegetables, but does the job. And they had no problem checking us in an hour and half before check in time. Thank you!

Beautiful big clean modern rooms we had a double queen. Requested a quieter room and was given this. The only thing is there are train tracks are at the back of the hotel so you cannot avoid hearing the trains. I am a light sleeper but it didn't really annoy me too much but I was exhausted with all the travelling we had been doing so this could be why. But most of the time the room was quiet. Breakfast was really good and the whole hotel although older didn't look it. Good location in town. Very busy car park because of the hotel restaurant and bar that's the downside. I do think there are two parts to this hotel so I am reviewing the main part others seem to have been put elsewhere, The receptionist was nice enough to us, but did seem a bit bothered by the guests checking in before us because they asked for a receipt for their credit payment which I also did. But most staff I have to say were very nice and if in the area again i would stay and definitely recommend.

This review is for a buffet dinner held in the Begbie Room of this Regent Hotel. Our tour group enjoyed a very nice buffet dinner at this historic hotel. The Begbie Room is not to be confused with the 112 Restaurant also housed in the hotel. Everything was top quality. The buffet entrees included prime rib with Yorkshire pudding, salmon, chicken, and mushroom risotto. There was a nice, delectable spread of various starters as well as various dessert samplers. Overall, a very enjoyable, comfortable, and delicious buffet style dinner here. Kate, the lady manager here greeted us at the door, helped to attentively serve the group, generally stayed on top of things, and bid us farewell as we left. Kudos and thank you to her, the chef, and the staff for a memorable evening in Revelstoke!

schönes Hotel im Boutique Stil an der Hauptstraße, Empfang freundlich. Großes modern möbliertes Zimmer und Bad mit Badewanne und Duschkabine, sehr sauber. Kein Kühlschrank, kein Mikrowelle, keine Kaffeemaschine, man kann sich an der Rezeption einen Wasserkocher ausleihen. Die Eismaschine ist nicht wie ausgeschildert im 1. Stock, sondern man muss an der Rezeption fragen, es wird einem dann ein Beutel mit Eis aus dem Pub übergeben. Ansonsten ist es ziemlich laut von der Straße und aus dem Restaurant/Pub mit live Musik und entsprechender Musikbeschallung. Bis 0:40 ging der Lärm, danach auch von Gästen die aus dem Pub kommen und sich lautstark weiter unterhielten. Außerdem hört man die Güterzüge von der nahen Bahnstation deutlich. Wir konnten jedenfalls nur mit Ohrenstöpsel schlafen. Hotel eigene Parkplätze gibt es nicht, aber einen kostenlosen öffentlichen Parkplatz hinter dem Hotel, ist allerdings stark frequentiert. Wenn da kein Platz mehr frei ist, muss man sich halt in der Umgebung einen suchen. 10% Gutschein für ein Essen im hauseigenen Restaurant gab es noch. Frühstück war soweit ok.

Lumpy pillows, small room with one kitchen like chair. When I asked for a second chair, I was told that it was not possible. We asked to take one from the conference room My 80 year old husband carried it to our room. No assistance offered. The hairdryer unit fell off the wall into the sink, there was no coffee machine, the tv didn’t work. However, the pub was good and the breakfast adequate. The front desk staff needs hospitality training. It seemed an effort to deal with guests.

Hotel was very easy to find on Highway 1 and well located in centre of Revelstoke. Room included free breakfast which was very nice ( delicious wholemeal croissants!) However, our room was at the back of the hotel and there was constant noise day and night from the railway line which meant we didn't sleep well. Our room was quite nice but was not very clean, particularly the bathroom floor which was covered in hair when we arrived. Reception staff very helpful on departure on advising of issues on Highway 1.

The hotel is right in the centre of town. It has free parking. The room is very comfortable and the bathroom is nice and modern. On our trip through the Rockies it is the first hotel NOT to have a fridge or tea/ coffee making facilities but does have air conditioning.

What a magnificent hotel! Very luxurious, and will every amenity you could think of, expect a pool. (The outdoor hot tub was pretty awesome, though.) The breakfast in the morning was fantastic! Didn't get any good pics, but it's a 'full meal deal'. There's a sports bar - The River City Pub & Patio - in the hotel as well as a first class restaurant, the 112. As always, no matter how cool the space and environment is, it's the staff that make or break the experience. Here at the Regent, the staff were exemplary! They even helped make space for the truck and boat right in front of the hotel. Easy parking, and the staff could monitor it overnight!

Really nice hotel with very comfortable bed, nice bathroom and lovely soft towels . The town is a lovely town . We onl6 stayed one night as we were on a bus tour so didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked to . The breakfast was nice . The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome.
