Extended Stay America Suites - Washington, DC - Reston

This is by far the worst hotel I've stayed at. This place is a dump and should probably be condemned. The good reviews on here have to be fake. And the management responses to the negative reviews are a joke. They don't prioritize cleanliness. On the outside there are overflowing trashcans and stains all down every sidewalk headed to rooms. Smells like ashtrays and has big chunks of drywall cut out of the ceilings in the breezeways to the rooms. Inside the room smelled like smoke. Countertops and kitchen drawers were bubbling like there was water damage. Mattress is cheap. And then the bugs. We got up in the middle of the night and turned the lights on and there were dozens of cockroaches all over the kitchen and bathroom. I even found them under the luggage and shoes near the door in the living room. We were booked for 3 days but after the first night we packed up and cancelled the next two nights. The staff was ok albeit short on words or expression but I think he was probably beat down from having to work there.

This is not like it looks on the pictures. Its very unclean and shouldn't have the rating it does. I wouldn't recommend staying here. I refunded my money after just a few minutes.

Had a fantastic stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location—but what really stood out was the service. The manager was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. You can tell they truly care about guests. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again!
