Hôtel Villa Alexandre

Tout a été parfait, merci encore ! Le repas, le personnel, le petit déjeuner, le sauna... tout est fait pour déconnecter et prendre soin de soi. A refaire en été avec cette belle piscine et sa vue. Possibilité de charger sa voiture gratuitement.

We have been here several times and we just love this place. The villa and the ambience is just great. This time we stayed in the rooms in the villa building rather than in the big suites in the outbuildings. The rooms in the villa turned to be out just as great (if not better) and the food was excellent (as always). So, why "almost" and not 5 stars? First, this was the first time we booked on their website, instead of something like ***********, and we found it to be not very user friendly. The booking process for two rooms is a bit confusing and booking a table for dinner is cumbersome as you have to enter all your details all over again as well as pre-authorise your credit card specifically for dinner. That doesn't really give a warm welcome feeling... Second, we had been here several time before so, a "welcome back" or "nice to see you again" would have been nice.

Overnighter stay This beautiful stunning hotel was a delight from start to finish. It’s sits in the middle of verdant vineyards of Beaujolis nothing was too much trouble for all the staff who went over and above to make our stay almost perfect. The rooms are delightful well thought out and very luxurious. The restaurant and bar were relaxing and well designed and the food was amazing a very small menu supporting local producers. The gardens were well looked after and there was a pool but we didn’t have time to try it out. We will return and I can only give this hotel 12/10!
