Fantastic Hotel and Restaurant!. I try and stay when ever I am down on business at this very hospitable hotel. The staff are friendly the food in the restaurant (including the breakfast ) is first class, the rooms are modern, clean and comfortable.

Arrived at the hotel soaking wet after walking all day in the rain. Met by Claire at reception and what a lovely welcome. The hotel has a drying room which was much needed . Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Could not fault anything. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Breakfast was excellent too, a great choice. Every member of staff was friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Loved this place. Updated pub with light and quiet rooms. Lots of staff and everything thought of. Great room, great food. What more is there to say. Oh yes, great value. Thank you. We will be back on another walking challenge. Do not underestimate how tough the walking around this area of the coast is. Fantastic

We stayed here for one night whilst walking the South West Coast Path. Arrived tired after a good day walking. What a wonderful welcome we received - we were checked in quickly and were delighted we had a bath in the room. The room was excellent, everything we needed .. loved the decoration. There was a brilliant blues band playing for a couple of hours and the food from the food truck was absolutely fantastic. A great nights sleep and breakfast was superb, served by fantastic staff. Highly recommend to all the south west coast path walkers.

Really nice B & B in a good location for exploring the area. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The pub/restaurant offers excellent food and the service is good. You need to book a table in advance though. Added bonus of parking right outside. Would recommend to anyone.

Lovely inn, with lovely staff , nothing is too much trouble for them and we felt very welcomed there.Spotlessly clean, both the bar restaurant and inn.We stayed overnight and for breakfast the next day.our room was the double with en suite .Very spacious room, bed was one of the most comfortable we slept in Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided with top ups available at request.The breakfast the next day was delicious..a choice of continental, full Cornish, smoked salmon, sourdough, avocado, kippers, pancakes etc.we had full Cornish which was all delicious xx We were above the Inn but there was no noise at all , had a lovely night's sleep and a very enjoyable stay.Will definitely return .

Booked 5 rooms for 3 nights to attend a wedding locally. We really struck gold booking with you as other wedding guests who had booked in other locations paid £40 per night more and didn’t get breakfast. We arrived early after a long drive from London and received a warm welcome, we were too early to check in so had a few drinks in the bar waiting for our friends. Every time we used the bar it was always very busy, not surprised as it has a great atmosphere. When we did check in we were shown to our rooms and given milk for the tea/coffee station, which you can get fresh everyday, getting to the first floor was ok but then the stairs narrow and the steps got smaller, I do struggle with my mobility but there is a monks bench on the first floor where I stopped before going up to the second floor. The rooms were all spacious and clean with a well supplied tea tray. Beds were soft and some towels provided. Breakfast was from 7.30am and had a great choice of food, continental was cereal, fruit, yoghurt and plenty of replenished juices. Hot food was delicious with very fresh eggs, tasty sausages and the hogs pudding was so tasty especially given that I said I didn’t want it thinking it would be like black pudding We were in room 6 which shares the bathroom with room 5 (my sister & partner were in that room) adjoining door wouldn’t open and looked like handles were just screwed in place as no hole for a key bathroom was cleaned daily and all other rooms have en-suites. Every staff member we spoke to was polite and friendly. 11 of us had dinner in the restaurant on the Monday evening, we had pre booked the table as read it can get busy. The fish was very fresh and we all enjoyed our food. Of the 9 of us staying with you there is not one negative thing we can say, overall a perfect very reasonably priced stay.

Nice room, superb food, good beer. The stairs to the bedrooms are steep - this is an old building! Nicely refurbished, helpful staff. Very good menu using local produce where feasible. We would definitely be happy to return. Definitely good value for money.

Fantastic Hotel, set in a lovely little village in Cornwall. The staff are friendly, the hotel and restaurant are tastefully decorated. The welcome is warm and the staff cannot do enough for you. There is a great selection on the menu. The breakfast is probably the best I have had. It’s a 5 min walk to the beach and there is a lovely open garden area which is a real sun trap in the summer.
