Safe, reasonable cost if you’re passing through The place needs remodeling. I believe it’s under new management. Their sign was the old name. First room smelled bad. Phone was dirty sticky. Didn’t work. 2nd room the remote control didn’t work. Overall decent for a one night stay. The front desk had nice professional receptionist and great customer service

Wish I was warned about conditions of the hotel They were cleaning out the rooms of all there old beds dressers ect was all in the parking spaces room was missing bathroom door very uneven shower door kept sliding open hole in screen bathroom window. The whole room needs repainting an repairs an a good clean...

They’re in the middle of renovation. My room was mostly done, but not completely but I did get a full charge for it. Quite a few marginal characters living there full-time.

Property under construction. Pool not working. Room door hinges broken. TV cable not hooked up, not working. Bathroom cabinet too big that there is no room for my arm when on the toilet. I am not a big person. Worst of all. I was told that hotel doubles as a homeless shelter. I really would like to have my money refunded. Very dishonest advertising. Someone should check the property before listing it. I am very disappointed. It not like the room was cheaply priced. Shame on you.

The motel was extremely dirty not just inside but the outside was just as bad. There were tweakers just sitting around in the parking lot full of old nasty mattresses sitting outside in the sun with broken furniture everywhere no shock we left the second we arrived at least the staff was nice and realized how much of a scam this place really is.

I personally did not stay at this location however my son stayed two nights arriving on a last minute scholarship to Simpson University. He hadn’t had time to secure an apartment so we were winging it and finding affordable hotels. When my son needed an additional two nights stay, I booked and PAID for an additional two nights stay. My son went to check in and was met by a different receptionist (I suspect the owner), and told there was a policy of securing a $250 deposit. This is not listed anywhere in their policy that I can find nor was any leniency granted to my son. My son also was not charged a $250 deposit for the prior two nights and informed the previous receptionist “didn’t know what he was doing”. If you value service, please avoid Abode (Rodeway Inn) motel. We weren’t going to complain about the rooms with our being appreciative of their daily rate being lower than the average in California, however they were below acceptable and the room was entirely too expensive to be treated indifferently. My son called me while checking in and I heard the receptionist being extremely loud and rude to him however when I called to confirm cancellation, the same person was friendly. I’m not sure what this was about and I hate to factor in race but I am only left with and assumption this may be the case.
