Quality Inn Red Lodge Gateway to Yellowstone

Hi priced miniature compact rooms...the rooms are remodeled but small and pricey yet all in the town are pricey. No elevator for 2nd floor and we were placed on the 2nd floor even with my requesting 1st floor. Breakfast was ok but the breakfast area like the rooms was extremely small so it was very crowded. Team members were pleasant....it was a Monday so more than half of the businesses and restaurants were closed in town (disappointing) You would think since this is a resort town and park entrance that would not be the case but it was. All in all the experience was a letdown when all factors were combined.

Very friendly staff. Check in and out was smooth. Plenty of parking. Restaurants within walking distance. Room was clean, bathroom clean, and bed was comfortable. Breakfast had hot and cold items and if I had one complaint, the eggs were almost not edible. Other than that, breakfast was enough to get you on your way. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a great budget hotel located just outside the orbit of Yellowstone National Park. My room with a king-size bed was a little on the small side, but I'm just sleeping here. I like the solid-surface flooring, it just feels cleaner. The bed was super comfortable, the room was quiet, the pillows were good. I must have looked parched when I checked wearing my motorcycle riding gear, because without even asking Kylee grabbed me two bottles of cold water. I also watched his interact with other guests and she is a great ambassador for the hotel. After showering and heading out to dinner, I found complimentary warm chocolate chip cookies in the lobby. Nice touch. The hotel is just on the edge Red Lodge's small downtown and is just a short walk from all the restaurants. I highly recommend this place.

This hotel is out of town so you will need a car to get to restaurants. There is no lift so we asked if we could have a room on the ground floor which was not a problem. We used the pool and hot tub. The room was clean and a reasonable size. We did have a problem locating the hairdryer but there is one in the room by the hanging space. Breakfast was adequate. Good place to stay if you are looking to drive over the Beartooth highway.

The Quality Inn was amazing! Perfect location in Red Lodge. Walking distance to all the cute shops and restaurants. It was perfect to head out to Yellowstone, and the staff was wonderful. Friendly, accommodating, helpful, Dakota was amazing and made our stay special! Highly recommend!!!

I was a little nervous as we've never stayed in a Quality Inn and weren't sure what to expect. I was happy to see this property is clean and the room was very recently updated, as well as spotless! The room was a good size too, a bit larger than a standard room. Every single staff member we met was warm and welcoming, especially the front desk ladies and the really nice lady in charge of the breakfast. I wish I had written her name down, she really went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed, and even helped us above and beyond her responsibilities. Breakfast was really good- small but the food tasted great and was hot. The wifi was fast and strong, the beds were very comfortable, and it was quiet in the room at night. The only (minor) issue was, the next morning we could hear the guy in the next room thru the connecting door- he was on a business phone call that we could hear pretty clearly. Some soundproofing with the doors would be very helpful. All in all I would definitely stay here again. Thanks to the staff for a lovely start to our vacation!

Clean, well kept hotel. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Nice hot tub and pool area and also a nice area to sit outside. Staff was friendly and very polite. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.

This hotel was adequate for a one night stay. Clean room and relatively quiet. The front desk staff were a bit rude: They made me go outside in the freezing pouring rain to retriever the license plate number of my rental car. When I expressed a bit of hesitation, they seemed pretty annoyed. I don't believe this is a Montana state regulation, as no other Montana hotel on my trip required this useless piece of info. With the free breakfast you get what you pay for, i.e., really bad food that probably came right out of Sysco Foodservice distribution center.

Clean room and property. Staff always very visible. Fantastic location within walking distance of restaurants and shops on the main street: this contributed to our staying for two nights. Red Lodge is a hopping tourist town with loads of restaurant choices. Ample parking. Indoor pool and hot tub looked nice but every time we tried to use them there were kids in both, including a toddler in a diaper in the hot tub once, which was unappealing. (Not the hotel's fault.)
