The hotel is close to the Oracle shopping centre and is within walking distance to many locations, including the town centre. There's a restaurant on site with a variety of good options, including a decent breakfast every morning! The staff are helpful and knowledgable, so you'll be in good hands! There's a car park on site with limited spaces, and the train station is a 10-minute walk away.

Be aware you will hear the busy road. Our window seal was surrounded in what looked like mould patches. Desperately in need of bleach or replacing. Purple light behind the bed flashed like it was broken. Not enough pillows available even when asked. Room was half the size of the portsmouth rooms which are also premium. On good notes it was in 2 minute walking to oracle shopping center and bars. But be prepared to wait at three pedestrian points so took 5 mins. Staff seemed nice enough. I tried to use the automated check in as I love technology but only one was working. I did ask for a spare pillow as we had three in our room and wanted 4 as we was a couple. Couldn’t spare any. But did give us an extra towel on request. Not sure why a couple booking a room would be provided one towel. Sadly the oracle fire alarm went off at 3am and carried on till 6am on a Saturday night. Not premier inns fault. But a room with good double windows would have blocked most of that sound out. Hotel was ok. Was clean apart from the window. Though I won’t stay there again. I’d find somewhere else

I stay here every year for work and every year it keeps getting even better. Such a cosy hotel, perfectly located and reasonably priced. That’s not even the best bit. The best bit is for someone who works up and down the country and is no stranger to many different Premier Inns, I can say quite confidently say that Reading Central has the best staff of all of them. They are all great but in particular Aneta who works on reception is an absolute superstar, how she hasn’t been stolen from Premier Inn yet is just mind boggling but I’m sure she will be CEO one day. She’s the quite literally the best of the best. Can’t recommend this hotel enough, and the parking isn’t that bad, don’t let that deter you.

Fantastic location and lovely staff. Very helpful every time I visit for work. Beds and room are to a high premier inn standard. Food is severed quick and is hot plus very tasty. Location is great for work and access into reading. I stay at the hotel many times.

This hotel is like my second home Been a regular customer since many years Flawless customer service, friendly and helpful staff, near to the town centre it ticks all the boxes Special shout out to Saka Dilshad Liam Dominika All of them are super friendly and if there is any issues they rectify straight away Excellent feedback 10/10
