We booked a stay at Shantiniketan in Ramoji Film City for our New Year celebrations. Initially, I thought the New Year dinner and Film City entry were complimentary, but it turns out those options are complimentary for higher-priced packages. After arriving and checking in, we discovered these options were not included in our booking. Thankfully, Naveen at the reception quickly connected us with Vijay Kumar from Tara Hotel. Both of them were incredibly helpful and arranged the options for us at a nominal extra cost. Their assistance made our New Year's Eve party truly enjoyable. Regarding the review, staying in Ramoji Film City (RFC) can be a bit costly, but in our opinion, it was worth it. The hospitality was outstanding. RFC is an expansive place, and you need at least two days to see and enjoy all the sights. There are guides at every spot, small cafes to big restaurants, drinking water, and restrooms available everywhere. The place is thoughtfully designed, with buses to take you from one spot to another. Despite getting tired, the experience was enjoyable. Even during holidays, when the crowds are bigger, it's still a pleasure. For the New Year's Eve party with DJ Chetas, I was initially nervous about booking for the family. However, the event was very well organized and the safest party I've attended. Although I didn't fully enjoy the DJ's song selection, the safety, good lighting, tasty food, excellent service, and overall organization were commendable. It’s quite challenging to pull off such an event, but they managed it impressively. While it is pricey, it’s worth it for a once-in-a-year celebration. Special thanks to Naveen from Shantiniketan's reception, Vijay Kumar from Tara, and Swathi and Pravalika from Tara Information Desk for their exceptional help.
