I came to Mermaid not just for a getaway, but for something deeper—and what I found exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel cared for, respected, and at peace. Each person I interacted with showed genuine warmth and kindness. Their hospitality wasn’t just professional—it felt human, and deeply sincere. The best part is the ride within the resort. No other thing they have. Behaviour of one of the receptionist was so disturbing. I stayed in the beach villa for couple of days. Quality of the room furniture was cheap. They dont even have a comfortable sitting arrangement. They tried to make the resort aesthetic but it was so disgusting. And most disgusting was their behaviour.

I had a wonderful stay at Mermaid Beach Resort in Cox's Bazar. The atmosphere is serene, the surroundings are beautifully maintained, and the beachfront location is simply perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The food was also impressive—fresh and flavorful. The only area that could use some improvement is the room AC units; they seem quite old and could benefit from an upgrade for better comfort. Other than that, everything was top-notch. Highly recommended for a peaceful escape!

We booked the mermaid suites. My favorite part of the room was the patio corner with the closed window, for me I needed a place like that to enjoy some time to myself. Amazing experience, great staffs, it's a beautiful resort specially if you want to stay amongst nature and serenity. The beach view was the best part, and it's calmer than any regular beaches that we visit in COX'S. Pricing of the food is an issue, so I would suggest to add some more snack items, if possible. I will definitely come back again.
