We ended up booking this hotel last minute—just hours before check-in—after a disappointing experience with our Airbnb. Despite the short notice, the staff at Premier Inn Rainhill were incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially Dave, who went above and beyond to make our stay smooth and comfortable. The hotel is small and located a bit far from the city centre, but the area is peaceful and well-connected, making it a convenient choice if you're okay with a short commute. Dave made a real difference—he was attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Overall, a great experience that turned a stressful day into a comfortable one. We’ll definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Liverpool!

Been a couple of times to this hotel now and always been a pleasant stay. Comfy beds, very friendly and attentative staff. Recently upgraded the WIFI which is super fast now. Pub next door is handy for food & drink and always a warm welcome. Would highly recommend!

My parents stays here for one night and had a lovely stay. The rooms was clean and quiet, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend a great place to stay and well located between Manchester and Liverpool for an easy day out

The hotel itself was great. Carpark was great and reception staff were great. However, the housekeeping staff stood outside my room talking in loud voices and woke me up. I had put the do not disturb sign on the door when i arrived the night before but they didnt pay any attention. They talked and joked with each other in loud voices and then started the vacuum. I didnt get to the hotel until 4am so had wanted to sleep until 11am and then check out at 12. But no such luck. I was rudely awoken and had no hope of sleeping past 9am

Always a warm welcome. Clean rooms. The family room is a comfortable size. Kettle in room and can get refills of tea, coffee, and milk. Beds comfortable. Rooms nice and warm although you have control of the thermostat for your comfort. Handy location for motorway.

Great stay, know what you get with a Premier Inn - Dave on reception could not have been more helpful or friendlier. Went above and beyond at every opportunity. Room was clean, beds comfy and we were greeted with some bottled water and oreo’s for the kids! Thanks Dave for being great!

We stay at this hotel regularly as we have family in the village and the staff are always welcoming & attentive. This visit was over Christmas, the room price was great & nothing was too much trouble for the staff on shift. Thanks for a great stay & we'll see you again in 2025!

Great bed, good location, lovely friendly and helpful staff. Had a few requests and the team were always on standby and ready to help. There’s a Pub next door, very handy! Very Close to motorway. Have stayed before and would definite stay again.

Freezing Cold Room. Instructions on Desk for Old Heating System, not the new one, WHY? Heating would not stay on. Receptionist kindly looked at the system in my room which is now a "wall heater" just kept switching itself off without the room being warm. I was offered portable old heater but we thought we had sorted the heating. To no avail, freezing coming out of the shower, freezing in bed at night. Staff were lovely but overall a hugely disappointing experience. I needed a restful night for a busy day ahead, sadly I got very little sleep and the "RELAXXXX" Premier Inn motto was far from evident here. Room 106.
