We asked the customer support to get the trip cancelled because of an urgent medical emergency. The executive said that even if the trip is non refundable, they will cancel the trip and refund me the full amount.
However later when I connected with them for refund processing, they said that they can't refund it as the hotel has denied the refund.
My dissent is
1. Why did the MMT executive say that the cancellation is allowed and he has initiated the cancellation from his end.
2. Why do they say that a full refund will be processed in the case of a medical emergency.
3. Why the misguided customer and cancelled the trip themselves and later denied the refunds.
This is a case of total irresponsibility and sheer negligence at MMT level.
