"Have loved this hotel. Reading some of the negative reviews I really feel like we stayed in a different place. We had an amazing trip. We had a lovely room which was quiet looking out on to gardens. It was spotlessly clean and was kept so daily, with some amazing towel art. The staff from the welcome at reception to the gardeners was always happy, hard working and pleasant. There are some rude customers (no need to this) who speak down to the staff which is not needed but a Big shout out to carlene who made me smile daily at breakfast and lunch after I watched a customer be rude to her yet she kept her cool (not sure I would have). Drinks were fab, never too long a wait. Wide selection of food Including a good variety for us veggies ! Lovely meals in all three additional restaurants, and love that the steak house also accommodates for vegetarians. We mostly stayed by the middle pool or the beach. Daytime activities are good and I like that the staff don’t pester you. They walk past and say what’s on then leave you, this lets you really relax and not feel that you have to join in. Shout out for junior and precious who ran fab classes. Also don’t miss out on the waterpark even as an adult. Well worth a go on the drop slide! I have two slightly negative comments. One the sports bar smells funny ! And two, the evening entertainment isn’t the best but they try ! The live music is always good and the white party, well get there early is all I would say so you don’t miss out on the amazing live singer and entertainment. Amazing trip with a hotel I would definitely not hesitate to return to. The beach is beautiful 🤩 don’t miss out on this. We saw turtles yesterday right outside the hotel !"

"Showers were gross, tiles had gone yellow and didn’t look like they’d been cleaned properly in a while. The wifi is horrible, even where the wifi is strongest it doesn’t work very well. The entertainment is poor, a couple nights a week it’s a party where nobody really attends. The positive is that it’s a very short drive from the airport, about 2 minutes. However there isn’t much to do inside the resort but it also doesn’t feel very safe to leave. We went into town and the locals didn’t seem to like that we were there, I wouldn’t go into town as a woman alone ever. The resort was mainly people who didn’t speak english which isn’t a big issue for us but meant the staff were never really speaking in english so we didn’t really know what was going on. We didn’t really do much of the activities as we couldn’t understand what was happening so wouldn’t recommend if you only speak english. The staff are nice, apart from the ones in the resort shops who are quite rude. For what we paid, I think it was worth the money as we can’t expect much but we did pay £900pp at least so if I was going to go somewhere again with that budget it would definitely not be here."

"Meillä oli kaksi kertaa hotellissa, ja tämä on vain vauvan, varsinkin henkilöstön. Puhtaus - erinomainen F&B - erinomainen paikallisten ja säännöllisten juomien ruoanlaitto - erinomainen Muistan vain yhden nimen - Alexandra, joka on super apua ja miellyttävä nainen. Alati tehnyt päivämme erityistä. Suuri animaatioryhmä veden polo (Kaipaan sitä). Suosittelemme erittäin ja tulemme varmasti takaisin. WiFi toimii täydellisesti ympäri koko kiinteistö."

"Olin epäileväinen vierailusta hotellissa, mutta minun täytyy sanoa sen fantastinen! Olemme nyt täällä ja kaikki on paikallaan. Henkilöstö ei voi tehdä tarpeeksi sinulle ja heitä on kuorma täyttää kaikki tarpeet. Ruoka on runsaasti hyvää, olemme syöneet buffetissa ja kaksi useista ravintoloista, Kulinarium ruoka on ensimmäisen luokan ravintola ruoka. On runsaasti aurinkosänkyjä, ja uusimmat huoneet ovat erinomaisia ja hyvin varattu juomia. Paikka meille siivoamattomasti puhtaasti ja hyvin varustettu. On päivittäin viihde maa-alue sivusto ja animaatioryhmät ovat iloa. Ranna on kaunis ja meri suuri varjo turkis ( hieman raaka kuitenkin) Ainoa yllätys meillä oli oli koko hotelli sen laaja! Me varmasti palaa todellisuudessa varaa myöhemmin tänä vuonna."

"I cannot speak highly enough of how wonderful this place was. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left. The apartment was lovely, air conditioned, had everything I needed. There was a little sandy garden that was mine, which was great for privacy and backed onto the most glorious, quiet beach. The nearest town is a short cab ride away but I ended up walking there and back most days along the beach. The breakfast box arrived every day with delicious food and a huge pot of delicious coffee. Everyone was so supportive and helpful and kind; respectful of space but also kept the apartment cleaned regularly. Leonilda and Fabienne were both there whenever I needed them and provided all the best contacts - reliable cabs, ethical boat tours (so important as there are some awful ones), the wonderful barbeque and local music nights just a little walk away up the beach. In 10 days I went from highly stressed, chest pains, dysregulated human being to completely calm, at ease, able to cope. My sense of self returned. That was not just because of taking a break. That's because I was at Vila Cristina. Wonderful. Just wonderful."

We wanted to repeat the experience, unfortunatelly this year hasn't fulfilled our expectations. (We missed cachupa, Ricardo's energy in dancing, ..etc).
