Had a lovely week at the Riu Palace, food was very good, all staff were fantastic and the service was excellent. Room did need some attention ie: mastic missing in bathroom allowing the odd little visitor of an evening. One of the swimup bars should be non-smoking, to allow you to get away from it if you want. And maybe a few non-smoking swimup blocks would be nice too. Other than that a lovely place to be and relax!

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 11 night at the beginning of July and we truly had a fantastic time. First impressions were that the hotel was extremely clean and the staff were friendly and that remained our entire stay. The hotel was kept to such a high standard and the staff were extremely attentive no matter where you were within the premises. If you are wanting a holiday to relax, this is the place to go! The rooms were always cleaned well and made to look neat, with the mini bar/ fridge being restocked often. I found the mattresses to be softer than most hotels I have previously stayed at but to say I slept well every night would be an understatement. The food at the buffet every day and night was fabulous. Constantly replenished until it was closed, always lovely. I was unlucky and towards the end of my stay got some sort of food poisoning. This led us taking a trip to the medical clinic inside the hotel and although it’s not the most pleasant experience to be ill abroad, the nurse was fantastic. It was easy to make an appointment to see the nurse and I was more taken care of with this one lady than I would’ve been through the nhs. I was put on a saline drip, was given anti sickness through the drip and was also given a dose of antibiotics through the drip. Once I was ready to leave I was given 3 days of oral antibiotics, 3-5 of anti-sickness and probiotics. So, if you ever find yourself needing medical attention you will be in good hands. We had a brilliant time. We were all sad to leave but would absolutely go back!

Bezocht met onze vijf kinderen tussen de 15-18. Fantastisch hotel. Fraaie kamers waar om de dag wordt gezogd voor een volle koelkast. Tevens voldoende koffie en thee op de kamer en vier flessen likeur. Eten: en drinken fantastisch, vers, fraai opgediend. Overal brandschoon. Vriendlelijk personeel. In de omgeving weinig te doen. Voor 10 Euro taxi naar Sal Rei, maar daar is ook niet veel te doen. maar dan ben je er wel even uit. Aandachtpunt voor het hotel: - avondentertainment valt echt tegen voor RIU

just returned from our 2nd trip to this hotel got off to s ahakey start but Anilton and Elisa in reception were briliant they sorted our querys and could not have done more.The food and drink at this all inclusive hotel are as good as any where in the world we have been. The fusion restarant is the best a bit surprised the menu had not changed in 3 years but was still good a different wine available here nice touch .The japenese was ok but one of the appitisers is the same as one of the starters in fusion ! . Dissapointed in the steak house the same food can be found in the main restarant and its better in the Buffett .Staff are great Mario makes great eggs Fatama in the buffett restarant is great a mind reader,Cladia at the main bar was good.And Yannik on towels is brilliant sense of humour plus the best libary .Thanks to all staff the chefs you do not see and the pool boys etc etc.Im sure we will be back a 3 rd time.This hotel is great to just chill out.

Large room and bed, good facilities, a variety of food choices, and varied entertainment options. If I were being picky, the dessert choices were minimal. There was an array of attractive, small blancmange cakes with little taste or texture and there was no hard cheese. With 65% UK residents, I would have expected apple pie, cheese cake etc.

My husband and myself stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks - 29th June to the 13th of July. What can I say, beautiful hotel, the service was amazing from check in to checking out. The staff are all very accommodating, friendly and very welcoming. The food is great and cooked fresh/replenished so is always hot. The cocktail’s are amazing, so is their local lager. Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels, the double bed was big and the shower is great. The mini bar is replenished every 2 days, but if you do run out of soft drinks/water you can ask the bar for them. Entertainment at night is your typical entertainment which is good. The entertainment staff in the day are very good too and try their hardest to get you involved. Going to the Karamboa’s Neon & White party is a must, it’s brilliant! Only a 10 minute walk. The beach is lovely. While we were there you can see Turtles in the sea. You will not be disappointed! ☺️

We love this hotel and have already booked again for February next year. The staff here are so helpful, friendly and genuine, they really make your holiday. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The food is excellent in all the restaurants with plenty of choice. The buffet restaurant has different seating areas which is great as it doesn’t feel like you’re eating in a canteen so you can happily eat here every night and not get bored. Our favourite specialty restaurant is the Krystal restaurant but as said previously all are excellent. My husband unfortunately cut his leg on a rock in the sea which needed attention. The hotel nurse was brilliant, cleaning and dressing the wound every couple of days. Thank you so much Marcia. We had a room with its own pool which was lovely. We can’t wait to come back in February.

I have been for holiday at Riu Palace Boa Vista in July with my family. The hotel was great, beautiful inside and around, really nice rooms, very clean. The staff very helpful, food really nice, lots of choices, located just at the ocean. Every day a lot of entertainment, games, classes, nice Spa and really good massage available. We could book some additional trips such as turtle experience, trip around the island, horse riding. I would definitely go back there in the future.
