Miramar Sunny Hotel by Valamar

Struttura con rapporto prezzo/qualità ottimo, penso sia impossibile trovare di meglio a questo prezzo in agosto. Soggiornato in due camere family comunicanti comode e spaziose, si vede che hanno qualche annetto e avrebbero bisogno di una sistemata ma niente di particolarmente negativo. Servizio ristorazione buono per qualità e varietà in relazione al prezzo, da rivedere per quanto riguarda l'organizzazione. I cibi più buoni e/o particolari, un pò per colpa degli ospiti incivili che ne prendono 5 porzioni a testa (e poi le avanzano nel piatto e vanno buttate) e un pò per quelli che 10 minuti prima dell' orario di apertura sono già in fila, tendono a finire e poi purtroppo non sono più disponibili... In pratica o si va a mangiare presto e si trova tutto o si mangia quello che c'è e si rinuncia ad alcune cose che gli altri hanno mangiato. Inoltre la sera con orario cena 19.00-21.00 c'è sempre da fare la fila perchè tutti i tavoli sono occupati, bisognerebbe allungare l'orario di apertura in modo da distribuire meglio gli ospiti. Altro lato "antipatico" del sevizio è che i camerieri, per quanto sempre gentili ed educati, continuano a passare come avvoltoi tra i tavoli per portare via i piatti, non solo mentre si sta mangiando, tante volte ci si alza per prendere da bere o un contorno e quando si torna è già sparito il piatto con ancora dentro cibo da finire e, a volte, anche le posate. La piscina è bella e si trovano sempre sdraio ed ombrelloni disponibili. Il mare è bellissimo in tutte le spiaggette pubbliche adiacenti all' hotel, in quella attrezzata e convenzionata in quanto di altra struttura Valamar è possibile noleggiare sdraio ed ombrellone a metà prezzo rispetto agli esterni, molto bella e ad ottimo prezzo. Nel complesso ci siamo trovati bene, è stata una bellissima vacanza ed al prezzo pagato ci tornerei senza problemi.

Cibo: a buffet, qualità discreta ma sempre le stesse cose: gli avanzi li ritrovi il giorno dopo come ‘piatto principale’. Le bevande sono a pagamento e parecchio costose. Camere: stendiamo un velo pietoso… vecchie, poco accoglienti e sporche. Il letto matrimoniale è composto da due letti singoli, CON COPERTE SINGOLE e scomodi. Nei muri c’era muffa, i divani lerci e pieni di macchie e i servizi igienici in condizioni pietose (bordi della doccia completamente incrostati). Posso dire che sono molto bravi a modificare le foto per il sito, perché le camere non rispecchiano la realtà. Personale: non all’altezza di un hotel con clienti internazionali, incapaci di parlare la lingua italiana e inglese. Molto poco cordiali gli addetti alla reception che faticano a salutare. Non consigliato.

Very good location, well equipped rooms, perfect quality-price balance, and charming treatment by the workers, the buffet was varied and tasty, the terrace with the pool made the days an enjoyable experience.

Miramar hotel della catena Valamar per la nostra famiglia è ormai una certezza ed una consuetudine da anni ormai. Personale gentile e sempre disponibile, Sempre in orario. Ampio buffet. Aria di libertà vacanziera e feeling di essere a casa di amici. Per noi è come la nostra seconda casa al mare. La differenza poi la fa l’acqua di Rabac. In poche parole indimenticabile. Everything was top notch. The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the hotel, the varied selection of food. Coffee machine and juice quality as in the best bars in the world. The rating is a perfect ten!!! We will be back

Me and my husband stayed at this hotel for a week 6th to the 13th June . We 've been to Rabac probably two or three times and love the place , but have never stayed at this hotel before . The hotel has got a lot of positives . Firstly all the staff we had any dealings with were helpful and friendly , especially staff on reception . The rooms and the rest of the hotel were spotless and the location was good except it was up quite a steep road which if you had any sort of mobilty problems would be difficult . Now to the negatives . We booked this hotel as restful break , we are both in our sixties . When we arrived on the Tuesday and up until the Sunday morning the hotel was basically full of families . The lounge /bar area had a table tennis table , various sit along toys for toddlers , play house and other toys. Kids were running around enjoying themselves and it felt like a cross between a playschool and a youth club. Perhaps we should have spent more time reading the reviews for this hotel but it was not a peaceful experience . The food was basic , great for kids and teenagers , lots of pizza , meatballs burgers etc.. but I never came away and felt I'd had a lovely meal . The other thing was the food was never that hot , even when we came to break fast at 7 am on the last morning the hot food on offer wasn't that hot. There was a microwave in the dining room which myself and my husband used to heat our meals up which was a boon otherwise all the meals we would have eaten would have been tepid . When we booked , and I don't think it was particulary cheap, about £850 each for the holiday with Tui , we were told that lunch was included which it was but in fact the lunch ended at 1 pm so if you were out it was a trek to go back and climb the steep road to the hotel . We probably had lunch there once . Soft drinks including water were free at breakfast and lunch , but not dinner which seemed quite petty . Pool area was pleasant and there was a circular pool but you couldn't really swim in it as it was at most 3 foot deep , great for kids but not really for adults. We complained about our room when we got there and were given a slightly bigger room with a better view , but the rooms were basic , no chairs just a stool and we had no mirror in the bedroom . Having said that the beds were very comfortable and really clean . It was just the wrong hotel for us , great for families but not for an older couple who wanted a relaxing hotel .
