Excellent hotel on the edge of Quimper. It was a little difficult to find at first even with Google maps. Reception staff were really friendly and especially helpful when we explained that we hadn't booked breakfast as my partner is gluten intolerant.. they assured us that there would be gluten free bread available for him and there was! We had an enormous room which was impeccably clean and well laid out. Parking was free and safe. It's a short 10/15 minute walk along the river into Quimper where there are many restaurants and bars but there are also a couple of excellent restaurants with a few steps of the hotel if you don't fancy the walk. All in all this was a lovely stay during our tour of beautiful Brittany and we would stay here again when in the area.

We had a lovely family vacation based in Quimper, and we truly enjoyed staying at Hotel Ginkgo. The staff were especially helpful, providing recommendations for day trips and making all sorts of arrangements on our behalf. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. We loved being within walking distance of the town center but still away from all the hustle and bustle. A great experience.

Hotel relativement agréable, personnel agréable, petit déjeuner plutôt bon
mais plusieurs points négatifs sont à noter qui sont décevant pour un hôtel 4 étoiles:
- literie inconfortable
-café lyophilisé…..disponible dans la chambre est inacceptable
-Le SPA n’est pas intégré dans le tarif de l'hébergement (32€ par personne… pour une heure)

Je retrouve l'hôtel deux ans après ma 1e visite et c'est toujours excellent, de l'accueil, attentionné et courtois, à la chambre, impeccablement propre et confortable; la literie est parfaite;de la chambre, je suis passé cette fois à la suite junior n°3; certes, j'ai perdu la vue sur l'Odet, mais au gagné un superbe bureau où il fait bon travailler (je suis en déplacement professionnel). Le PDJ et très complet et de belle qualité; l'ensemble de l'établissement respire le calme et la sérénité; le personnel est attentif et le séjour idéal; tout cela donne envie d'y revenir, en vacances, cette fois (je serai désormais à la retraite!). Bravo et merci à M. Laurent et à son équipe! FL

Excellent property and service. I just wish we didn't have to arrive by 10:00PM to check-in, we usually arrive late at our destinations. Make sure also you take note of the code to re-enter via the front entrance after hours because there will be no staff at the front desk.
