Good customer service

A nice hotel in a remote area of St. Elizabeth. We stayed here for a wedding, which was amazing. The rooms are basic and there aren't any shops nearby. The restaurant prepares food to order. It takes a while to come but was tasty. It's about a 15 minute walk to Lover's Leap, which also serves food and drink. The views are spectacular!

Avoid I won't go into too many details but there are a lot of better options available in and around the greater Southfield area than this dump. I do not recommend this place!

The view and the privacy

Location is in St. Elizabeth farm country, so be prepared for challenging roads in the last 1/4 mile. The view when you get there totally makes up for 5 minutes of bumpy ride. The view is phenomenal. Property sits atop the cliffside of the Lovers Leap area, offering panoramic views of Jamaica's south coast, spanning Port Kaiser to the Great Pedro Bluff. Peaceful, restful, could sit there all day taking it in, if only my room had a chair. We had 2 rooms, so my comments are based on both. The rooms are furnished with a bed. One room had a ledge by the bed that served as a nightstand. That's it. No nightstand, table, chair, dresser, closet, clothes hook, peephole. Just a room with a bed, and a bathroom. Stayed 4 nights, no daily housekeeping. We had to go get towels at the front desk. Doors were not secure - jiggling handles & knobs, no security deadbolt or nightlatch. TV was weird, no local channels or cable, just Netflix & Youtube. Ate breakfast one morning (has to be pre-ordered), traditional Jamaican breakfast that was tasty & plentiful. Server friendly and eager to please, but wore slides with socks. Wi-fi was spotty, had to constantly go to FD to get it reset. Credit cards not accepted, either cash or Cashapp. Party in the ballroom means you are forced to listen to loud thumping music until it's over. Great location, but needs management that is familiar with hospitality accommodations.
