Sophisticated charm with first class service. The days are running out all too fast. Yet another fabulous visit to The Residence where the staff and management are so friendly with a desire to make our holidays as peaceful and relaxing as possible. Food and service has been exceptional at The Veranda and Plantation restaurants. Almost silver service at the Plantation in the evenings with Sanjeta at the helm. Watersports team have gone out of their way and helped with all aspects of waterskiing for my son. If you want to relax, enjoy great service and feel very special this is the place for you.

Fantastic location with a great lagoon and beach. Beautiful hotel with a welcoming staff always ready to help. The food was also very good with a great variety. The room was great, well appointed and spacious. Very happy about everything!!

We stayed at The Residence Mauritius in May and had an absolutely incredible time from start to finish. The hotel exceeded all expectations and created a truly memorable holiday for us. From the moment we arrived, the staff were outstanding. Their warmth, friendliness, and genuine hospitality were consistent throughout our stay – a real credit to the hotel. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. Our room was spotless, and we especially appreciated the evening turndown service, which added a special touch of luxury. We were lucky enough to have Ramaloon as our personal butler, and he went above and beyond to ensure everything we needed was taken care of – nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was another highlight. The buffet restaurant featured a different theme each night, so there was always something new and exciting to try. It never felt repetitive. For families, the fresh pizza, chips, and pasta options for children were a thoughtful touch. The desserts were beautifully made in small portions, allowing us to sample a bit of everything – and they were all delicious! The resort also offers a great range of complimentary water activities, which was an added bonus and something we really enjoyed during our stay. There’s also a small kids’ club with various fun activities taking place throughout the day – perfect for families looking for a bit of downtime or entertainment for the little ones. The beach was like something out of a postcard – clean, pristine, and wonderfully maintained. Whether you were relaxing or taking part in water activities, it felt like paradise. Location-wise, the resort is perfectly placed. We mostly used the hotel concierge service to book taxis, which made getting around super easy and convenient. They were always helpful and efficient. One unique and thoughtful touch we really appreciated was the unpacking and packing service the hotel offered – something I’ve never experienced elsewhere, and it made our last day so much easier. All in all, I would 100% recommend The Residence Mauritius. It’s a perfect mix of elegance, comfort, and exceptional service. We truly hope to return one day soon!

A beautiful hotel right on the beach with amazing views. The rooms are large with balcony and huge bathroom with bath, huge shower and walk-in wardrobe. We stayed for a week and it was absolutely perfect. The whole hotel is impeccably clean. The staff are friendly and helpful and the reception staff and evening butler do everything they can to help with anything you need. We mainly ate at the hotel restaurant which has a different buffet theme every night with lots of different options. The restaurant staff and chefs were really helpful with my son’s allergy. The Plantation restaurant was also great, a goid menu and service. The hotel also offers free water sports including glass bottom boat and snorkelling, there is lots of sea life and crystal clear water, so an amazing experience. The hotel also provides very comfortable loungers and free water stations with beach towels by the pool and all along the beach sometimes they even give out free iced juice lollies. You also get lots of water in your room and tea and coffee. I would highly recommend this hotel it is fantastic and we will definitely go back soon!

We stayed here from 10th June - 20th June 2025. We were looked after by all staff and would highly recommend this hotel. Everything was fantastic about the hotel, the decor, the facilities were excellent such as the pool and private beach access as well as the many included water sport activities. The dinner buffet had lots of options however being vegetarians we felt that the buffet at times was limited however Executive chef Desire, Chef Yarun and chef Sanjay made sure that they made specific Indian meals for us that was separate from the buffet. This is something that shows that the hotel went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied with everything. They would even prepare special meals for our 21 month old daughter to ensure she eats properly daily. All staff members were great and polite however we were given exceptional service from Chef Desire, Chef Yarun, Chef Sanjay and waiters Vikesh, Rajesh, Stephanie and Theresa. On our check out day our flight was delayed by several hours and the reception very kindly let us keep the room at no extra cost until we needed to leave in the evening which is unheard of. We would highly recommend this hotel to everyone and we cannot wait to come back.
