Bocawina Rainforest Resort

We had an amazing 2 nights stay. The staff were super helpful and friendly and really couldn't do enough for us. We loved the bird watching with Roni and the kids had a great time doing the 9 section zip line with Roni and Carlos. The home cooked food was excellent and the location in the jungle just amazing. We got transport to get there but you can get an A/C bus Floralia from Belize City to drop you at Bocawina Junction and they will pick you up from there. The only downside is that the beautiful suite was too hot to sleep very well as there is no A/C, but they do have lots of fans. Best thing is to leave the windows open (they have netting over them) so you get some cooler air coming in. From our teenage son: 'It was amazing, I loved it!!!'

I can’t say enough about the friendliness of the staff! Such a lovely group of people! Our room was clean and comfortable. LOVED the sound of the jungle critters day and night. Had some heavy rain moments, but it was refreshing and beautiful. Easy access to hiking trails with spectacular jungle views and waterfalls. The zip line was one of a kind! Highly recommend this resort for those looking for a jungle experience. Important tip: bug spray is a must! There are little black flies called botless flies that take a bite that is noticed but not painful, but the itching is irritating for days! Other than that, absolutely wonderful!

If you are looking for an Eco adventure, this is the place to do it. The location is astounding, the service is top rate, the food was good and the entire experience was amazing. I was encouraged to do the antelope Falls hike and repelling by Kayla and I am so glad she did that. It was not an easy experience, but Andrea was so incredibly supportive and made sure we were all safe. Rhea who works at the bar is truly a gentle spirit, and Roberto took me on the most amazing bird walk in the morning and night, walk in the evening and was so incredibly knowledgeable and made me feel safe even when we even when we looked at tarantulas. I read one of the negative reviews and that person clearly was not looking for this kind of adventure. They were probably more used to five star resorts. This is not that kind of place. What it is is a place where people who want to experience the wilderness with other like-minded individuals, can get close to nature, and experience top rate hospitality. I highly highly recommend

Excellent spot for nature lovers and hikers

Hotel vraiment sale ( les draps tachés de partout)...les prix sont une folie sur place que ce soit pour les repas ou les activités et le pire j ai demander un prix pour une activité sur place il etais de 68$us par personne alors que par message on m as repondu 2 jours apres que j ai quitter l hotel que ca devais couter 95$us pour 5...aucune insonorisation vous pouvez suivre les discussion des voisins sans problèmes voir meme discuter avec eux....on a dormis dans la jungle a plusieurs autre endroits et c etais le seul qui etais decevant et tellemnt cher sur place.....
