"The hotel front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! There's complimentary bottled water available at the front desk and by the elevators on every floor, which is a really thoughtful touch ❤️. The elevators require a key card to access guest floors, making it feel very secure. I booked a tatami room, and the environment was lovely. The toilet seat was automatically heated, and the fridge came stocked with free snacks and drinks. A delivery robot even brought my takeout right to the room door, which was a fantastic experience! Across the street is a food street, so dining options are super convenient. It's only a two-minute walk to the Qingdao Beer Museum and also very close to the metro station. This hotel is highly recommended!"

"Mid-way through our coastal road trip, we stayed at the MGM Qingdao, and frankly, everything from the amenities to the service was impeccable. The concierge proactively guided us to the underground parking, helped with our luggage, and even gave us tips on parking. Check-in at the front desk was a breeze. When we realized we were missing something, we contacted Elly from Guest Relations, who immediately arranged for it to be delivered and kindly asked if we needed anything else. The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, the guest rooms have a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom, and the bedding is wonderfully soft and skin-friendly, making for an excellent night's sleep. The concierge, front desk, and Elly were all on point with their service throughout our stay, quick to respond to requests, and genuinely polite and friendly. There was none of that typical 'five-star hotel distance,' which made our trip incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend for road-trippers!"

"Overall, the room was decent – clean and tidy with a nice view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The soundproofing wasn't great though, as I could hear noise from the hallway. Breakfast was a letdown; it lacked any special holiday touch, and the food display was very ordinary. The hotel's location is its main advantage. Next time I stay, I won't bother with breakfast, as it didn't meet my expectations. I extended my stay by one night, and had to confirm it twice at the front desk, but housekeeping seemed unaware of the extension. My room wasn't cleaned in the morning as they thought I was checking out. Overall, I'd give it 2.5-3 stars."

"Before going, I read many reviews, both good and bad, but you really only know how you feel once you've been there yourself. I thought it was great! I booked a sea-view room and really liked it. Although it's an older hotel and a bit dated overall, it didn't affect the experience. The beach wasn't crowded, which was very pleasant. I bought an extra hot spring ticket. The only unexpected thing was having to pay extra for my child's breakfast, which is the first time our family of four has encountered that at a hotel."

"The hotel's location right next to Beer City is fantastic, and it's super convenient to get to the beach. We received complimentary welcome fruit in our room, and free parking was available right in front of the hotel. They even allowed us a late check-out. The room was spotlessly clean. The only downside is that the hotel is quite old and hasn't been renovated, so the facilities are a bit dated."

The space was tidy and clean, the facilities were new and well-maintained, and the environment was quiet and comfortable. The overall quality was excellent. I'll definitely choose this place again next time."

"This was my second time visiting Qingdao, and I chose to stay at this hotel again. The 6th floor has a kids' play area, which is perfect for families traveling with children. Parking is convenient, and there are many malls nearby, making dining and shopping very pleasant. The room hygiene and facilities were both excellent (💯). The only minor drawback this time was that the soundproofing in our room wasn't great. Next time I visit Qingdao, I'll definitely stay here again!"

Our plans changed, and we needed to leave Qingdao later, so the hotel graciously extended our check-out time, which was incredibly thoughtful! The breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of options. Enjoying the delicious food while basking in the sunlight by the floor-to-ceiling windows was a wonderful experience."

"The room was clean and the service was warm. It's located right on the pedestrian street, with a subway station right outside, making it super convenient for getting around. Even though it's been open for a few years, it's still well-maintained. The view from the rooftop is even better for photos than the one from Badaguan Mountain."
