Charmillion Club Aquapark

The holiday was a bit of a bargin so I wasn’t expecting lavish & the reviews were a mixed bag, therefore I wasn’t preparing for excellence & was going with an open mind & more to enjoy some winter sun & some half term family time. We booked a family suite, the rooms require updating, lots of mouldy grouting in the shower & a feel of had its time & worn out. The housekeeper came daily & we enjoyed guessing the towel art that would be left on the bed for us. The restaurant was very busy at peak times (it was half term week) , que for chips & pizza. Being a veggie I did struggle, however I am used to it & am happy to settle for a week of rice & salads & the pasta section was lovely, the chef made me up fresh sauce & I enjoyed it. The grounds are immaculate & kept spotless. There are some building works going on at the back, our apartment block backed onto it and at 7am the machinery started. We are a family and early starts are no problem, however on breezy days the dust blows across as we sat by the pool and covers everything, we had it all in our hair and it’s not ideal for anyone to breathe in, we could see people were moving down to avoid the dust & this was not mentioned during our booking process. The entertainment is the usual activities during the day, darts, Zumba & on our last day we had a super foam party, great fun. My daughter and husband went on the water slides & enjoyed the thrills. We took the free shuttle bus to the other charmillion hotel that’s on the beach, a tip is to not get the return bus to arrive back for lunch, the bus was very busy and although we were first there, everyone just hustled & bustled to get on, not fair! I had an open mind before i went & I was met with what I expected. Positives are, the service is impeccable, all staff go above and beyond to please guests, from the restaurant, bars, entertainment & reception. Negatives are, bedrooms require updating, they look miserable but the beds were very comfy. The food is repetitive (but isn’t it always in all Inc ‘s). The question for chips etc is quite a pain as by the time you get them you’re other food is cooling off, it was carnage at peak time, the staff did a great job of clearing tables quickly & getting drinks. It’s very noisy! We enjoyed the winter sun & the foam party was our highlight, the service from staff is super. The holiday was a bargain, good sunshine & I can’t complain about value for the money I paid. Just one point to mention, I took my daughter to one of the shops by the enterance, one of the men in there stood by me & my daughter, just looking at us, finally he asked if we could get married as he wanted an English visa. I didn’t feel uncomfortable or on edge as he didn’t appear nasty, however my daughter didn’t like him standing there, I assume he was waiting to see if we were English & just standing there looking at us.was very odd , Sadly, it was the only time things were spoilt however, everything else was enjoyab

We travelled as a party of 5 (2 families) reception teams were nice and friendly when we arrived talked us through all the information we needed and arranged for our bags to be taken to the room! We stayed in 6132 & 6133 I believe this is the new block it’s further from most things which to start with we was a little annoyed BUT we had nice quiet rooms to relax and being early birds we didn’t have lots of noise keeping us awake at night! Our house keeper was lovely ( I didn’t catch his name) nothing was too much trouble and greeted us every morning with a smile and good morning! Restaurant staff where all amazing but an extra special shout out to Mahmoued Magdl ( I hope I’ve spelt his name right) he would greet us every morning biggest smile have a quick chat and then bring us beverages, he would pop over again before we left to make sure everything was ok and to see if we needed anything. He did this every time we went to the main restaurant. He was just the sweetest!! Mohamed at the pool bar was lovely knew our ordered and would even give us the nice cups (as I called them 🤣). Animation team was lovely Eymo was always happy to see us trying his best to get us involved in the fitness activities. We had a valentines pool party which was so much fun! The life guards on the slides also lovey and even started to have a good laugh and joke around with us splashing each other and trying to make us go as fast as possible! Lots of little shops onsite to use which was great for the kids. We even popped to Karam for a little tattoo he was lovely kids all had hennas done too! Honestly all the staff here where amazing! We’re actually now looking to book again next year!! Now the bad bit!😔The food! There’s lots of choices however us English are fussy!! You could tell the English from the other nationality’s their plates where piled high our not so much 🤣 I tried a few of their dishes and actually quite liked them, but for the kids there wasn’t a great choice. Always had pasta chips pizza and burgers though. We ate at the Indian and Italian both were lovely meals! Don’t be put off by the construction work going on around the resort I never heard them! We had an amazing holiday kids loved every minute of it and can’t wait to go back and see everyone!!

Lovely pools, most of which are heated which is definitely a bonus in February !! Lifeguards and cleaners did an amazing job cleaning and taking care of the pool areas ! Big thanks to Mahmoud the lifeguard who did an amazing job of entertaining my 4 year old! Food was pretty good, with plenty of variety ! Always pasta for kids !! My only complaint is that there was building work going on next to hotel (that our room looked onto) and this woked us up at 7.30am. This is the second time returning and we would come back!

أقمت في الفندق لمدة 3 ليالي، وأعجبني المكان لدرجة أني مددت ليلة إضافية. كخبير سفر، أستطيع القول إن الخدمة هنا استثنائية: • موظفو الاستقبال: محمد صبحي، تريسا، أندرو، ومروان قدموا تجربة رائعة في استقبالنا. واندروا كان طول الوقت في تواصل معانا بالواتس اب والتلفون وبيحل اي مشكلة بتواجهنا بسرعة واحترافية • خدمة الغرف: مصطفى كان دائمًا يزين السرير بشكل جميل ويقدم خدمة ممتازة. • مطعم القاردن: كرم ومحمد قدموا خدمة ممتازة. • الإدارة: المشرف شرف كان محترفًا جدًا، وتعامل بحكمة مع موقف غير لائق من موظف في السبا، حيث قدم لنا تخفيضًا بنسبة 50%. المميزات: • شاطئ مميز به إطلالة رائعة على جزيرة تيران والسفينة الغارقة. • أجواء هادئة مثالية للعائلات. • استجابة سريعة للطلبات، مثل تركيب الشطاف عند الطلب. التحسينات الممكنة: • جودة الأكل يمكن تحسينها. • بعض الخدمات مثل الآيس كريم والشيشة ليست مشمولة في الإقامة الشاملة. • هناك مشاكل بسيطة مع الناموس والذباب. • المنتجع كبير جدًا، لذا من الأفضل توفير عدد أكبر من عربات القولف لتسهيل التنقل. بشكل عام، تجربة رائعة وسأعود بالتأكيد.

Amazing hotel, stayed with my 10year old and my partner. Facilities are kept to an amazing standard and the staff are friendly and accommodating especially Mustafa at reception and all the staff in the main palma restaurant. The kids pool and main waterslides are heated which is a huge plus especially as we visited in February. Overall very happy and would definitely visit again
