The Grand Hotel Sharm El Sheikh

Отдыхали в этом отеле с 29.06 по 09.07.2025 г. Сначала о положительном. Территория большая, ухоженная. Много бассейнов, найти место на лежаках можно было в любое время. Еда хорошего качества, довольно разнообразная. Очереди в ресторан были (через 1,5 часа после открытия) из-за нехватки мест, но максимум 5-10 минут. Уборка номеров предлагалась каждый день. Поменять полотенце - по требованию, проблем не было. Заход в море через пирс и довольно не простой, когда много людей, большая глубина начинается сразу. В отеле есть второй пирс, но он работал 1 день. Свободные лежаки на пляже после 8 утра найти практически невозможно. Для знатоков Египта Риф мертвый, рыб мало. Но вам понравится если вы в первый раз в Египте. В барах наливают в многоразовые стаканы. Если надо уйти с бара, то тогда наливали в одноразовые стаканы. Сладости ))) их было много и разнообразные. Из минусов. Очень недовольные люди на стойке приема гостей, вопросы решали явно с неохотой. Анимация слабая, девушки которые там работают явно занимаются не своим делом. Сотрудники занимали лежаки возле бассейна для посетителей каждый день, стели полотенца около 8 утра. За 10 дней мы видели только раз, чтобы кто то пришел на эти лежаки. Мы жили в номере 468 и 471. Из плюсов хороший вид, близость к главному корпусу, довольно просторные номера. Из минусов - номера уставшие очень, холодильники не работали в обоих номерах. В номере 468 протекал потолок в коридоре и ванной, в шкафу были мокрые полки. Нам было не сильно критично, в номере только спали.

Great hotel with alot of space staff are so friendly so massive props to mansour and ehab but great staff so kind and great attitude and also helpful. Also the bar staff cant remember there name but great people who come straight to your service room bit dated but still perfectly clean and great view with also a very friendly cleaner who would always ask me how my day was. Also massive props to the staff who helped us with our bags so helpful and so kind and you can have a laugh with them as well. Food can be a little better and i think as well that better signage for the hotel as i did not find 2nd restaurant until a couple days after staying here overall great hotel and would definitely stay agian.

The staff are amazing - Carlos, Ashraf, Mohammed, Baseem, and Tamer all worked really hard to make my 2nd visit amazing. Love you guys The food is great - lots of choice and restaurants to choose from. Cleanliness, the staff work really hard to keep the hotel clean and tidy. Lots of improvements have gone on since my last visit in January, and the place looks amazing. Can't wait to come back in June

First off this hotel is definitely NOT a 5 star hotel, more like a 3 if you’re lucky. We arrived in the evening so there was no food available so there was a selection of cold cuts left in the room which consisted of 2 bread rolls 3 pieces of cheese and some type of meat which didn’t look edible. The room was the size of a broom cupboard and the bed was a large single and seeing as we asked for a king size bed this wasn’t acceptable as well as unable to walk around the bed the toilet was almost in the room again not acceptable so the room was refused, eventually after seeing 2 other rooms we settled for one with a king size bed and a toilet far enough away so you had some privacy. Room was lovely and clean but beware they dont fill up with tea or coffee so take your own if you need a drink in your room, milk can be had from the restaurant. Towels were very grubby looking and no flannels supplied which is unusual. The reception staff are the most miserable and rude people you could ever meet and the managers walk around with their noses in the air as if they are better than anyone else they don’t even speak to the holiday makers, but every other member of staff are fabulous and will go out of their way to help you, a big thank you to the pancake guy who went out of his way to give me pineapple it was fabulous. The bedding and pillows are not great and the pillow cases have millions of bobbles on them so they need replacing with bedding g of a better quality for sure. The hotel is built on a hillside so it’s very steep with LOTS of steps which is no good if you have mobility problems, pools are always kept clean and there’s loads of sunbeds but only one place to get your clean beach towels which is a long walk away, the pool guys are great and always willing to get your drinks for you. Restaurants are not that great, some days I struggled to find anything to eat, the supposedly al a carte restaurants are the same type of food that you get in the other restaurants except you have to pay for you drinks there, one evening when I didn’t want a drink I was to I HAD TO HAVE ONE management orders which I wasn’t happy about, the guys in the coffee shop were great though and always brought my tea and cake without even asking for it. There’s loads of pools there so you can take your pick and always plenty of sun loungers. It’s about 95% full of rude Russians though and they push in and are very demanding and the staff don’t like them and will always serve the brits first,
