"Olemme jääneet hotellin sviittiä 10 päivää eikä olisi voinut pyytää lisää lomasta. Sviittit ovat suuret. Puhdas ja hyvin ylläpidetty, ja meillä oli hämmästyttävä näkymä merta ja auringonlasku parvekkeelta. Henkilökunta oli ystävällinen, chattilainen ja hyvin majoitus. He tekivät kaikkensa, jotta meidän jääminen muistaa. Ruoka oli fantastista. Uima-allas on puhdas, kyllä on kukkaroita, koiria ja kissaa, mutta uima-allas ja ympäröivä alue on hyvin puhdas, he eivät häiritse meitä ollenkaan. On kaunis lintulaulu koko päivän ja kolme koiraa eivät kiinnostaneet ihmisiä, he vain istui varjossa ja vaeltaneet hieman, itse asiassa ne olivat melko söpö. Yleiset ruokailutilat olivat helposti saatavilla ja kylpyhuone oli myös ylellinen (Balinese massaaminen...hämmästyttävä!). Sri Lanka on kaunis ja ihmiset ovat poikkeuksellisia. ❤️"

"It was a great experience staying at Tharu villas Wilpattu. Villas are spacious, with modern features and has great architecture. Secluded without any disturbances. Property is located about 15 minutes from Wilpattu NP, Eluwankulama entrance, which also is not very crowded. Staff is very friendly and caring. Would highly recommend for anyone who likes nature and wants a peaceful secluded stay."

"The place was nice and homely…very good service by the staff! And the beach is very close by too…their food is good too and I would especially recommend their batter-fried cuttlefish/seafood dishes. One let down was that the wifi did not work and TV works with wifi so we had a terrible time with the connection"

"We stayed here for 4 fabulous nights in February, deciding to go straight to Kalpataya from the airport. It was a good 3 and a half hours and certainly not boring. The hotel is right beside the ocean and you can listen to the waves from your room and spacious covered balcony; we found it very relaxing. You can also see the ocean from your balcony during the day. The staff team here are fabulously, nothing is a trouble. Pradeep, the manager will do his very best to arrange excursions or transfers for you, we went to Willpatu National Park and on the Dolphin boat trip, both arranged by Pradeep and both excellent. The food at the hotel is exceptional, try the Sri Lankan breakfast, it is a fantastic experience. The area is quiet and very friendly, you can walk out of the hotel without any harassment but you may encounter friendly cows donkeys and dogs on your travels (all of which know the Highway Code). There were one or two minor inaccuracies in the description, there was no TV or safety deposit box in our room but we did not need or miss either. Doors were very secure and Brownie, the resident dog, let you know when any non guest entered the grounds ( she seemed to understand who were guests and who weren’t) All in all a fantastic experience and if I came back to Kalpitaya I would stay here without a second thought."
