The stay and food were decent. However, the check-in and check-out timings were quite unreasonable. Our check-in was at 12:00 PM, but the check-out was scheduled for 10:00 AM, which doesn’t make much sense. Despite requesting early check-in and a little flexibility with check-out, the hotel manager kept insisting we leave early, which was very frustrating. I believe such behavior from the management might drive people away. Other than that, everything else was good.

We stayed at Hotel Royal Grand heritage, Puri from 3 rd to 6 th April '25. Very good hotel. Centrally located, closer to Lord Jagannath temple. Rooms were new, neat and clean. A/C worked well. The bathroom was very very clean. Well maintained. They have a restaurant at roof top. Their complimentary breakfast is excellent with a number of South Indian items like Idli, Vada, Dosa, uppuma, Poori which really satisfied us, as we couldn't get good S. Indian delicacies in Puri. Only thing, in the evenings, they serve punjabi, continental cuisines. It will be desirable if they can include Dosa at least in the evenings. Their staff members were very polite and courteous to customers.But the open terrace restaurant outside requires better attention as we expect better servicevas compared to A/C. Some of the staff, who served us include Poonam, Vishnupriya Lipsa at restaurant Ms. Mithali @ housekeeping Mr Sanjay,Mr.Badhal@ reception We compliment them. I would strongly recommend this hotel for stay at Puri It was a pleasant experience all together.

The hotel was overpriced, the amount charged was that of 4 star and it lacked basic facilities. The food was bad, the tea tasted salty, most importantly the response time to any request was large. We ended up buying stuff, just to spend a night

Decent hotel near Jagannath temple.. However, it’s priced higher than its worth. I was charged 800rs extra for an early check-in which was surprising as there were rooms available. Cleaning staff (Mithali) was very courteous and cheerful. Food at the terrace restaurant is good.

It's a safe & good place to stay. The staff was also courteous especially Mitali didi who escorted me to the room. Room was nice & clean...but little bit far from the temple.

Paid around 23k for 2 days for 2 rooms. Room dine in service is slow. Faced issues while placing the order - half of the time phone doesn’t work. Sometimes, they take the order but don’t fulfil. It happened with us twice in 2 days and they didn’t even informed us. During dinner time, please expect a less priority as they tend to serve the people who are in their restaurant. And sometimes, they will miss the instructions as well. Breakfast has good options. It’s near to the temple, but after seeing the crowd, better to stay at a walkable distance of 100-150 m. Not worth spending this much amount to have mediocre facilities. They also provided us the transportation, although the one drive who came to pick us up was good. But the other one who came for 6 hrs trip from puri to sun temple to airport, was driving at high speed. We asked him multiple times to slow down but he didn’t follow. We had a little accident as well. So, better to book from some other agency, they are cheaper as well.
