Hotel Sonar Bangla Puri

I, ***** with my wife and kid, stayed here for day. It was a pleasant stay for us. The hotel is located on marine drive road and near light house. We stayed in a front sea facing room. Though, the room was small if we see the price, it was clean and had all modern amenities. We found bed size small to accommodate a couple with kid. The best part was the sea facing balcony with two chairs and a small center table. Food quality was good as we took only dinner there. Again, the breakfast (we added with booking only) was very nice offering a wide variety of options one can choose. We found the staff behaviour polite and kind but a bit unfriendly. They should try to attend the guests, especially non-bengali ones (no offence please) with more smiling faces.

Hotel location is awesome. On the beach. Auto stand is outside the hotel. Market is very very near. Hotel staff is superb. Food is good. My stay was made soooo memorable. View from my room

Food quality is very average. Rooms are congested and small. Staff is not trained properly and not hospitile. Rooms are expensive with respect to room charge. Expect better from sonar bangla
