Selina Punta Del Este

Muy ruidoso entre el movimiento de gente que llega en la madrugada y lo insólito y nunca visto, hacen el servicio de habitaciones en la madrugada, bueno la limpieza de las que quedan libres . Servicio diario no tienen o sea no funciona como.hotel. A las 3 am limpiando la habitación pegada a la mía, imposible dormir con el golpeteo de los utensilios de limpieza. 200 dolares la noche a finales de diciembre para no poder dormir!

Fue una bonita estadía, la pasamos bien, aunque una noche hubo gritos desgarradores del cuarto de al lado quizá alguien ebrio o pasado, pero como no pasó a mayores todo bien,hay detalles que mejorar o actualizar, los ambientes me gustaron, quisiera que hagan arreglos en la piscina ya que es un lugar relajante, la atención de recepción estuvo excelente, nos informaron todo, y la ubicación muy buena, teniamos lo que necesitabamos cerquita, aun habiendo ida en temporada baja.

Selina Punta del Este es un lugar increíble, ubicado estratégicamente en una zona muy linda y tranquila, con vistas al mar y a muy poca distancia del puerto, del faro y de otros atractivos turísticos. Valoro enormemente al personal del hotel; fueron muy amables y atentos durante mi estadía, brindándome una ayuda invaluable. Me permitieron quedarme hasta la medianoche en las áreas comunes del hotel después de hacer el checkout. Un agradecimiento especial al Gerente Diego, quien fue increíble. El desayuno ofrece 4 opciones para elegir; yo escogí huevos con tostadas, mermelada, queso crema, jugo y café. Todo estuvo delicioso y destaco que el café se prepara al instante con una máquina de barista, lo que eleva la calidad del café. Las instalaciones del hotel son excepcionales: cuentan con una piscina externa, una piscina interna climatizada, jacuzzi, sauna, cine con butacas y Netflix, sala de lectura, gimnasio multifuncional y una cocina comunitaria equipada con todo lo necesario para los huéspedes. Quiero hacer hincapié en lo agradable y feliz que me sentí durante mi estancia en Selina Punta del Este. ¡Sin duda volveré!

We have been to Selina a few times. We have chosen it for its cost-benefit relation. The suite is spacious and has a nice view of the shore; it’s located in the peninsula, close to the beach, restaurants and the main street; and it’s not as expensive as most hotels in Punta. However, this time we have found it less interesting due to significant management flaws, which I mention below: 1. Cleaning: Room cleaning is clearly below standards. The rooms have no wardrobes and clothes must be accommodated in a drawer chest and bedside tables. We needed to clean all drawers, as some of them had awful stains and hair. Clearly the room service does not check drawers after guests checkout. 2. Room service: a. We stayed in the hotel for over a week, but room cleaning did not clean our room every day. They missed one day. I’m not sure why. b. There was only one soap for hand washing. No soap nor shampoo were provided for shower. We used our own soap and shampoo, and one day the room service took them away. That’s quite unusual. c. There was an old refrigerator in the room, which did not work properly. We asked it to be fixed, and were informed that it could not be repaired. No water, nor other drinks, are provided in the room. d. In the first day we slept in the hotel the room service nocked on our door when we were still sleeping, which was quite inconvenient. They explained we didn’t put the “do not disturb” sign out, but we didn’t have one in the room. It was provided later. 3. Restaurant: There was a nice Japanese restaurant which has moved away to Montevideo, but it is still advertised on TripAdvisor as located at the hotel. It was an advantage of staying at the hotel as they served a nice breakfast and dinner. We found the current service somewhat limited, and preferred to have breakfast at nearby cafes and restaurants. 4. Swimming pool: It was not appealing for a swim, as the water was opaque. It seemed it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. I would like to return to the hotel in the future, and I hope the management reviews the quality of services currently provided, particularly in regard to room cleaning.

El hotel super bien ubicado. Las instalaciones están bien, solo falta mejorar la decoración y ambientación del lugar donde está el jacuzzi y la piscina caliente. En el restaurante deben mejorar la oferta de comida. No hay nada del mar (y estamos en un lugar de playa). El servicio de Víctor que trabaja en Recepción fue EXCELENTE, muy eficiente, rápido, preciso y sobretodo amable.

Equipe de marketing muito boa porém estabelecimento deixa muito a desejar. Sem estrutura nos quartos, informa ter espelho de corpo todo e só tem para o rosto, manchas nas paredes e móveis, descarga com defeito, secador não funciona, minha hospedagem inclui bebida de boa vindas que não foi dada e tive que ficar cobrando para nem ter. Piscinas muito sujas e área aberta comum sem nenhuma manutenção. Recepcionista não foi prestativo nem estava disposto a resolver as situações.
