Punakaiki Beach Camp

Der Platz ist an der Küste inmitten des Nationalparks gelegen, die einzelnen Stellplätze sind einigermaßen groß, die Einrichung sauber und die Chefin sehr freundlich. Unser Favorit auf der Reise. Einziger Nachteil: Nahezu kein direkter Blick aufs Meer.

Amazing location right on the beach and 10 minute walking to Pancake Rocks! Cabin was great with a small fridge and kettle, and had a nice private deck to sit out on. The shared kitchen was really helpful and the camp provided all the cooking supplies we needed!

Punakaiki is a beautiful place. The campsite on the other hand is very poor. The showers on the site are the old press handle and the water runs for 15 to 20 seconds at a time. The water temperature varies depending on other water pressures eg other shower users, toilet flushes etc. The cabins are extremely basic. Beds, table chair, fridge and a light blub. Don't expect anything else. In autumn when we travelled the room felt damp as did our clothing each morning. WiFi is only available on the communal area and there not great either. All in all. Stay else where if you want more then just a terribly basic campsite

Les douches étaient très propres mais le logement et la literie très très moyens. Les photos de la publicité sont assez mensongères

This place has only one area access to the wifi. Otherwise it was a nice & beautiful place.
