"The location was great. The staff were all very friendly, and although there was no electric kettle in the room, they were able to lend me one. I was also able to upgrade to a room with a bathtub for one of my three nights (for an additional fee), but unfortunately the bathtub didn't hold enough hot water, so I wasn't able to enjoy a long soak. I felt like the large bathtub with jacuzzi was a waste."

"We booked a room for 3 people with a terrace and sea views. Initially, they gave us a smaller room, but later they gave us the one we had booked, which was larger, with a sofa, an extra bed, and furniture on the terrace. Spectacular sea views from the hotel. Comfortable bed, fairly large bathroom, spacious room. We didn't like the buffet; both breakfast and dinner were barely replenished, we literally ate the leftovers. And the restaurant staff were curt, at least those who served us. They knew we were guests and still charged us a supplement. We also didn't like that a child was left sitting for hours in the seats on the terrace facing the sea, without ordering anything, while the rest of the guests couldn't use those seats. The child was saving them for his family, and on one occasion, he was angry and occupied a six-seat area for over five hours. The waiters did nothing. Attentive and friendly reception staff. Attentive and very friendly cleaning staff."

"Brijuni Island on täysin mahtava ja oli ihmeellinen yllätys. Luonnollinen kauneus, rauhallinen ilmapiiri ja ainutlaatuinen luonne saarella teki meidän oleskelu todella erityinen. Hotellihenkilökunta oli erittäin hyödyllinen ja ystävällinen, varsinkin neuvomalla meitä parhaalla tavalla tutkia saari. Heidän ehdotuksensa käydä pyörällä oli täydellinenit antoi meille nähdä paljon enemmän Brijuni ja todella nauttia sen kauniita maisemia. Aamiainen buffet oli erinomainen, monia vaihtoehtoja, ja illallinen buffet oli myös erittäin hyvä. Meillä oli kaunis kokemus ja ehdottomasti suosittelisi jäädä tänne jokaiselle, joka vierailee Brijuni. Saari itse on todellinen kivi!"

"Before booking, you should be clear about a few things. The hotel is old, really old. You can see it in almost every detail: the wooden floors, the doors, windows, yellowish closets, and especially the antiquated bathroom. But it's clean, the beds are reasonably modern, and the walls look renovated. Unfortunately, there are no curtains for darkening the rooms or to block out the light in the evening. Check-in and breakfast are at the Hotel Neptun, as the reception and all other public areas in the Karmen were closed. Almost all of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We booked a room (No. 334) with a sea view, and the view from the balcony is truly stunning. This view and the overall wonderful feeling on the island make us overlook the hotel's condition. Even in its renovated state, it probably wouldn't be affordable for everyone. We rented bikes for a day and explored the quieter parts of the island. But €27 per day for a standard bike without gears is unacceptable. During the peak travel season, until September 30th, hotel guests receive a 50% discount. However, we don't understand why hotel guests have to pay the full price for the bikes after September 30th. Despite a few criticisms, we will definitely be back."
