Piñata PV Gay Hotel

Hotel Pinata is a fantastic retreat in the middle of Zona Romantica. The pictures and video do not do it justice. It is quiet, well decorated, clean, with a beautiful private pool and hot tub area and the staff is fantastic. Patrick and his entire team go out of their way to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Highly highly recommended.

An excellent boutique hotel in the heart of everything! Patrick and the team made our week-long stay nothing less than unforgettable. The hotel is small, but the rooms are spacious, well-appointed, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean. The daily housekeeping included chocolates on the bed and two large bottles of water, which we did not expect. Bath towels were abundant, as well as additional towels for the pool. The common areas of the property were also well-appointed and clean. The boys were constantly cleaning and attentive, but at the same time, never obtrusive or distracting. Speaking of the boys, a special shoutout to Luis and Uri, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Patrick, the owner, was away during our stay, but you wouldn't have known it with Luis and Uri at the helm. While the pool and spa are not huge compared to resort standards, because there are only eight rooms on the property, it never felt crowded or cramped. What did feel large was the big steam room just adjacent to the pool with two showers inside! As other reviews have mentioned, the location is absolutely the best —just a few blocks from the beach, bars, restaurants, and shops. A great cafe is less than half a block away, but the boys put out coffee service on the bar every morning if you happen to be up before most cafes/restaurants open at 8:00 am. I could go on and on, but to sum it up, I can't think of anything more Patrick and the Pinata team could have done to make our stay any more exceptional than it was. Would very highly recommend this small boutique hotel. Patrick and his team could not have done more to make us feel at home during our five night stay. The room was v well decorated and v comfortable and the general environment was beautiful with a small gym, bar, sun terrace, pool, jacuzzi and steam room all available. The central location is perfect for bars, beaches, shops, excursions and restaurants. It comes with a small amount of city noise, but nothing that disturbed us ….even during the Pride festivities. 10/10! Thank you!

The building was beautifully done with art, plants and ambiance throughout. The staff were all handsome and kind. There are 8 rooms I believe but I only saw 1 or two other guests for the whole weekend, I basically had the pool and hot tub all to myself and my guests! Perfect location for local sight seeing and bar hopping. Will be back!

Piñata PV is a high quality, first class hotel and Patrick and his staff are even better! Service and premium guest experience are the hallmarks of this boutique hotel. We greatly appreciated the friendly and welcoming atmosphere created by Patrick and his staff. This was especially important for me as it was my first visit to Mexico and Puerto Vallarta. The place is immaculate and well-managed. The room we stayed in was comfortable and well-appointed - no detail was missed! The central location of the hotel is great - one can easily walk everywhere- the beaches, restaurants, shopping, entertainment venues, etc. The hotel provided plenty of information to help us maximize our stay. In particular, the personal advice and recommendations of Patrick and his staff were especially helpful and appreciated.

We're so glad Piñata was just as awesome our second time around as it was last year! Actually it was better this time because we were here longer, and we were here for the Saturday evening party this year. During the week we met so many nice guys just chilling in the hot tub. Patrick and all his staff are just so friendly and efficient. The property is sparkling clean, all the time. We ran into a few rainy days -- so it was really nice to just walk out the door to the clubs and restaurants and not make a production of it. And it was so nice to have the covered deck/gym upstairs for lying around reading while waiting for the sun to come out. Of course we are already going through our calendars, picking the perfect week to return next year!
