Luna liquida exceeded our expectations significantly!! My wife and traveled July 24-31 spending 7 nites at Luna. The location, the property, the room ( Sol3), the staff and the views were magnificent! Mercedes prepared our breakfast every morning with a lovely smile and wonderful personality. Carlos and Jesus did all they could as well to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied. This hotel will not disappoint. Location in the centro is ideal. Walk everywhere or simply get yourself an Uber. One thing to be aware of is the hotel view is amazing but at a price…. The walk back up to the hotel from the sea is approximately 6 blocks of very steep hill. We enjoyed it as we needed the exercise daily after eating and drinking at so many wonderful establishments. It’s not a show stopper as you can simply Uber up the hill for a very small amount if you choose. Thank you Mercedes, Carlos y Jesus for giving is a wonderful week! Gregorio y Martha

I just want to say the location and the hotel was actually pretty nice, hotel staff was okay if u actually see someone. Front desk was empty most of the time we were there. Pool wasn't cleaned very well. It was hard to get a hold of staff, the welcome drinks they say is provided is nonexistent. we stayed in the Estrella room in which had a tub in the photos, was a lie! Breakfast was decent, fruits, bread and coffee. If u want actual food, u will he disappointed, they don't serve food in the hotel other than breakfast but everything is walkable and places close late. Only issue is going back up to the hotel, lots of steps and steep cobble stone roads. And then more stairs to get around the hotel.I'm not sure if I would stay here again. Probably not. Wished they took care of their guests better.

This was our second time here. We stood last April and absolutely fell in love with every single detail. It is incredibly clean, gorgeous inside, impeccable views, exceptional service and located in the perfect area. The infinity pool was were most of our days were spent. It was quiet and peaceful up there. The scenic view was breathtaking. We we are to read, take pictures, lounge in the water, layout to get some sun. The pool was also clean and warm. The front desk ad staff have always always always accommodated us with check in times and emails leading up to our trip. Not a single complaint. We will stay again.

Luna Líquida is a beautiful, unique hotel. Our room, Estrella, was perfect with a balcony and view of the ocean. The location on a hill makes for amazing views. There is a steep climb with stairs for sidewalks but the location was perfect for us near lots of good food and the malecón.

We were there over New Years Eve, ( our anniversary). We wanted to be close to the restaurant where we were going to be celebrating at, within walking distance to, “ La CAPELLA“. We picked the right place, ( I even wore high heels). The staff was wonderful and we met lots of out of town guests over breakfast, ( there are few tables and were able to share. ( we do not mind and that’s a good way to meet other travelers and get hints on restaurants and maybe find out what other city they have visited that may interest you too). We had a room with a view, which we loved. We have already made reservations for this December!

This hotel is very charming. The room was spacious and the rooftop and public areas are lovely, with beautiful views. It was also very peaceful at night, and the staff were friendly. Just a couple of things to be aware of: our room (4th floor "sol") had a bathroom that was private but not ensuite - it was in a corridor close to the public area. The hot water in the shower took a long time to come through hot. The "continental breakfast" consisted of coffee, toast and jam, and fruit, every single day. Some variety (muffins, croissants, rolls, different jam...) would have been nice. We did see the reviews about the steep climb, but the treacherous cobblestones and the steep slope right outside the door of the hotel were a bit more than we bargained for. However, it's true that you could easily get an inexpensive cab back to the hotel.

Quiet room with lovely breezes and peaceful nights. Felt like we were living in Puerto Vallarta instead of being tourists. Lots of room and space to hang out alone or with other guests. Easy to get around once you get acquainted with the area. Hills and steps, yes. But taxis are always an option. Food tours, water taxis, local buses … or just walking and exploring - all easy enough from this location. Hotel is super clean and relaxing. If you are a pretty independent traveler and want to experience something special, stay here. It is safe and a really great choice. Fellow guests were fun to visit with…we all shared our experiences and useful info. Staff was always kind and friendly.

Wonderful small hotel with multiple levels so unique. Fabulous view from top floor with pool. . Great staff. In heart of old town. Only drawback, 180 some steps up from the Malecron. Cabs very cheap here. Great weather and great celebrations all week for the day of the dead. Would definitely return!!

The hotel exceeded our expectations on every level. The pictures don't do it justice! Our room had wrap around views overlooking old PV and the ocean, one of the largest bathtubs I've ever seen and a huge, comfortable bed. Watching the lightning storms from the bed was a highlight! The rest of the hotel is simply classic old Mexico and stunning. The staff was kind, helpful and very warm. We had the rooftop plunge pool to ourselves both days and found this place to be the perfect start to our trip. It is up the hill from old town so be ready for an uphill tread on cobblestone and uneven pavement if you're dedicated walkers, otherwise it was a super inexpensive taxi ride from anywhere in PV. Highly recommend!
