This hotel has been renovating for years and years. It’s finally open but the construction is still going on? 8 AM to 6 PM constant machinery noise. Just finish up and quietly host your guests. Sunday brunch screeching is also unbearable — get someone with a nice voice!

Loud disrespectful of Puerto Vallarta residents. A blemish to the whole area. Rude construction. Overpriced drinks , constant construction . Lie to all surrounding residents promising to be a respectful neighbor. Drag show loud and obnoxious to all who must endure screeching voice of announcer.

Tryst is THE place to be
Great new hotel, convenient location, top notch staff. Rooftop pool has amazing views and is the place to be for sunset! Will definitely be staying there again.

Construction issues
Unfortunately, the experience was significantly impacted by ongoing construction noise, which made it difficult to relax and truly enjoy my time there. The noise was persistent and disruptive, affecting the entire stay.
That said, I do want to acknowledge that the staff and service were excellent—they were the one saving grace of the experience. Their professionalism and attentiveness stood out, and I truly appreciate their efforts.
However, given the level of disruption, I feel that some form of acknowledgment or resolution would be appropriate. I hope you’ll take this feedback seriously for future guests, as I had higher expectations based on the reputation of the hotel.

I tried this spot out while in PV and it did not disappoint! It’s a new hotel and right in the heart of PV. The service is outstanding—everything you’d expect from a five diamond hotel is here. I spent a few hours in the lobby restaurant to work—the coffee was great while I worked. I also had espresso martinis here one night. Today I had lunch here and had the enchiladas and the burrito. The banana boy smoothie was also delicious. They also have a rooftop pool on the 8th floor with a bar that has amazing views on the 7th floor. It’s a very nice setup. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling in PV. The hotel rooms are super nice too! The staff is outstanding and a level of service out of this world! Thank you for a great experience.

The Tryst is definitely a work in progress with some noise from continuing construction and one elevator. On the positive side the staff is AMAZING from LUIS, to Ronald Ramirez in the dinning area to Fabian Ruiz (Guest Services) & food!!!!!

The Tryst is a beautifully designed hotel and the staff was great. Rooftop pool was amazing the drink service up there was impeccable. Rooms are nice and beds were super comfy. However, there is only one elevator and it’s pretty slow, so you’ll find yourself taking the stairs a lot which isn’t a huge deal unless you’re on a higher floor. Also there is no gym or spa, again not a big deal but at the hotel’s price point it would’ve been nice. Biggest problem, but one that should be temporary is the ongoing construction. I’m generally a very deep sleeper; especially after a night of drinking. However, the construction noose is sooooo loud that I wasn’t able to sleep past 830 any of the 9 days I was there l, which kind of ******.
