Impeccable boutique hotel with the finest amenities. Staff was extremely friendly, courteous and professional. Service throughout was exceptional. Happy hour on roof was great. The dining experience in the restaurant was equally wonderful, especially for breakfast before heading out to explore PV. Will definitely come back.

I want to thank everyone at the hotel for such a great experience. Fabian specifically was very helpful throughout our stay. I've stayed in a lot of great hotels, but was in awe at the high level of service the hotel provided. I was more surprised by how clean the hotel is. The public areas and our room were always very clean and spotless - and I constantly saw cleaning staff working, cleaning something. When my boyfriend and I booked this hotel, we were concerned as the hotel is still under construction. When we got there - we found the construction was on the second floor of the hotel, we never were on the second floor so we didn't see much of what they were doing. The rest of the hotel is complete and finished. We didn't see the construction, and it wasn't a bother. My boyfriend and I loved this hotel and will absolutely plan on coming back here the next time we are in PVR. The hotel is close to the beach, great restaurants and the nightlife.

We stayed in the tryst for 4 nights and loved everything about it. We were concerned based upon some of the reviews that complained about noise and despite having a room right next to the upgrade works (they are building a second guest only pool area) we were not disturbed at all, especially as we certainly weren’t wasting the day away in our room during the day. The hotel is beautifully finished, the rooms are spacious and the bathrooms delightful with great water pressure, the hotel has lots of great touches such as a free mini bar that you can empty once, delicious welcome cocktail and generally just lovely staff, all of which couldn’t be more helpful. We loved the WhatsApp access to reception which is a super efficient way to communicate any requirements or get any questions answered and most of all we loved the happy hour in the infinity pool, which we did daily, meeting lots of people including others guests as well as locals who come for the fun and amazing view. Special shout out to Kay and Lisa in the pool bar who took great care of us. An absolute gem of a hotel in PV and we can’t wait to come back.

The noise......
I had for nights in Tryst hotel. I had an amazing room with two balconies.
Main problem is that the hotel is still under construction. It meant that I could not use my balconies due to noise every day from 8:30-17:30 and the amount of dust coming from the construction work 2 floors down. On top of that the hallways and the reception/restaurant area is also under construction.
The hotel has a very nice rooftop terrace with a pool. There is public access to the roof top, and given the size of it, it can become crowded.
In all fairness the hotel did offer me a compensation for the inconveniences.

Work in progress
As of March 2025, the second floor pool is not finished. Construction is noisy. And yet prices are expensive. Elevator is small and you'll be waiting a long time especially on busy days. The rooftop pool and drag brunch bring in a big crowd. Better to use the stairs. Rooms are small and minimalist but nice. Linens and toiletries are top notch.

WONDERFUL!
It's been a few weeks now since my stay at The Tryst but I'm still left with the lasting impression of just how lovely this hotel and it's staff are. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left 15 nights after, it was nothing short of wonderful. Everyone goes out of their way to make you comfortable and relaxed. The rooms and communal areas are all fantastic and it's just a few mins from the beach and the action. I can't wait to return.
