Servatur Eden & Buganvillas

Un complejo pequeño, pero muy tranquilo y un precio que lo merece. Hacía tiempo que no disfrutaba tanto de la estancia en apartamentos del sur de Gran Canaria. Todo muy limpio y las instalaciones están genial. La chica de recepción es un encanto. Recomendado 100%.

Okay here goes ….Just back from Eden (post Servitor takeover) And the following is my opinion. Been a regular here for 20 years and almost every year we have seen improvement after improvement in the amenities and standards (Always said the Eden should be 4 star) However Servitor and TUI have combined to change my view Food No theme nights so it is quite repetitive (still fair choice) They must have over ordered the peppercorn sauce as it was out every lunch and dinner,One night they had roast beef and spouts but no potatoes of any description (except chips) Also very little food labels so guests had to ask the kitchen staff repeatedly what was the dishes who some of the kitchen staff didn’t even know ( or understand the question) On one occasion someone asked what is that? Only for a member of the bar staff had to stick a ladel into the pot before they could answer the question .We ended up eating out a few nights and that I can tell you is the first time we have done so staying at the Eden. We ask the TUI rep about the food labels who promised to investigate but was a waste of time as TUi rep failed get back to us Staff Miguel at breakfast was very welcoming as usual and is a credit to his dad and the hotel However quite clearly Katie looked like she didn’t want to be there and had no interest or interaction with the guests amd even roped the entertainer guy into some dining room chores at lunch time! this was more evident when Miguel was on rest day when Katie just watched the other girl ( no mame badge ) do all the grafting. Michel was also great with the guests but doesn’t seem to put in the hours like he used to (good for him) But in his absence the standards slip massively (tables from previous diners/ drinkers left uncleared ect) its not clear if anyone in charge in his absence? The two young lads hadnt a clue on how to make up drinks and insisted we take plastic cups (self service) into dinning area for evening meal..I pointed out I wanted glass and one of the lads then pushed the plastic cups towards me ( I eventually won that battle) This was also reported to Tui rep who again promised to investigate and to provide feedback .TUI rep not interested (Never felt the need to go to a rep in my life before) Lifeguard reprimanded kids for taking crockery poolside ( quite rightly) but turns blind eye to Scandinavian folk taking beer glasses and wine glasses to poolside! Entertainer our 8th night we were asked if we had just arrived! Despite taking part in the quiz every night .Only show football on the screens when it was Scandinavian England teams involved .Got told to go to Europa Centre to watch Scotland Entertainment was okay but all the singing acts always seem to feel obligated to finish the axta with abba songs! Despite having an Abba night! even Chris Mooney .One can only have so much of Abba. Finding it hard to be critical as I find it sad to right anything negative about the Eden however in my opinion this H

Het appartementen complex is hoog in Puerto Rico gelegen. Het uitzicht beperkt zich tot de bebouwing, tenzij je het dakterras op gaat. De kamers zijn goed, sanitair idem. Als je een auto tot je beschikking hebt is dat een groot voordeel. Vlakbij is shopping centre Europe. Veel restaurantjes met veelal dezelfde menukaart en 2 chinezen. Handdoeken worden niet dagelijks ververst maar zoals aangegeven 3x per week. Er is geen airco op de kamer maar ventilatoren. De warmte is goed in toom te houden hiermee. Wij hadden logies met een goed ontbijt. Op het ruime balkon zit je wel continu in de sigarettenrook. Bij het ontbijt idem. Dit complex is een waar rokersparadijs, voor niet rokers een afrader. Het omgeving lawaai valt mee.

Just returned from a week at the Eden been visiting this hotel for over 20 years and sorry to say will not return .Staff are amazing Chira Mitch Miguel Kim so pleasant and helpful Andrea on reception also very pleasant on the other hand Nicoleta I'm sure her name is most ignorant member of staff I have her met throughout the years very aggressive attitude towards guests .Maid service has really went downhill not as clean and thorough as in previous years .Went AIl Inclusive wish I hadn't food was awful either overcooked or undercooked choice very limited also was cold . Mostly Scandinavians god you would find it hard to believe they were on holiday so miserable looking and very rude . Entertainment rubbish and nothing for kids to do .Big shout out to Becky this girl is amazing Eden would be nothing without her . Unfortunately I will not be back after spending many amazing visits here .A great Hotel that has changed in so many ways and not for the better .

Good service. Good cleaning. Good variety of food at all inclusive. We had swim up and really enjoyoed it. I would really recommend swim up. Friendly staff. Convinient with supermarket in the same building. It is on top of the hill so take a taxi back to the hotel if you don’t want the excercise.

On arrival all windows were open, spent the next 2 days trying to get rid of small insects. Kitchen was fully equipped with cups,plates, cutlery etc but no air conditioning. The front door frame wasn't in great condition and looked like it was just hanging on (Room 25). Never stayed in a hotel with no phone in the room and where reception shuts 10pm-9am!! Furniture on balcony was a fantastic idea, unfortunately table and chairs were dirty,and lots of flies around. Food repetitive and not always hot, not replenished quickly either, very small area for eating meals. Solarium was a godsend, with tables by the beds and spaced out, just dont look at the handrail going up the steps, could def do with replacing!! Sunbeds around the pool area are placed right next to eachother, no space to move. Shuttle bus to Amadores Beach was great and beach is beautiful. Not too sure I'd give it a 3*, but was a pleasant week in the sun, but wouldn't return.
