We came here for a 3 day last minute break ,booked this hotel quickly just by looking at the pictures ,usually takes me a heck of a long time to pick a hotel and I always get it wrong ,not this time ,this hotel was beautiful ,we had a lovely room with swim up pool ,the pool was lovely and warm and the view was amazing overlooking the sea ,the hotel is spotless clean ,the food was the best food I’ve had in an all inclusive hotel ,we loved this place so much we booked to go back in June for 10 nights on the first night of arrival ,

This was our second visit to this hotel. We chose to go all inclusive in a junior suite. Number 2405 The hotel is spotlessly clean in every area. Our suite was cleaned every day to a very high standard. We had a massive balcony with 2 sunbeds and a table with 4 chairs around it. The view was spectacular out over the town and out to sea. The food was amazing at every meal. There were so many choices even the pickiest eater would find something. Most of the drinks were serve service including beer and wine. Meaning that there were not many queues at the bar for cocktails and spirits. The entertainment staff worked very hard and there was always something going on be it games by the pool or evening shows. We would most definitely return to this hotel for a third time and hopefully we will soon.

We really enjoyed staying here, nice pools, great views and good service. Good food Game room for children Heated pool Location is great, but if you want to go to the city it's steep walk up and down so be aware. Take a taxi Only negative is the floor in swimming area, the tiles are slippery, be careful when you walk.

A spotless hotel with the most helpful and most friendly staff I have ever encountered. I can't stress enough how good the staff are. From reception to restaurant, bar, cleaning - all of them incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was good and plentiful, but it was very similar every day. The drinks themselves were water-down and not great but self-service was quick and easy. The "snack" style lunch wasn't that nice and pretty useless for a baby. Never had a problem finding a clean highchair. Eating outside did leave you vulnerable to resident pigeons, but staff quickly cleaned tables, despite best efforts by some guests to leave them covered in wasted food. We had a quiet room on the Playa de Puerto Rico side. It was accessed by only one pair of lifts, much better than some that needed two. One of our lifts was broken for a short while and I think in busy high-season the lift queues would be frustrating. We paid extra for a sea-view which I don't think we got; we looked mostly onto the town below - disappointing. I don't know who's fault that was, the hotel or useless EasyJet but I wasn't interested in moving after a long journey. If I went again I wouldn't waste the extra money on that. The "family suite" room was a little small but OK for a baby and 3yo. The bathroom was a bit pokey and you had to keep the window open for ventilation. WiFi worked well and it was very easy to cast stuff to the TV. I think rooms on the other side of the hotel would get noise from the entertainment and were more exposed to wind. The stuff for older kids looked good but was limited as usual for under 4s. The play room had a schedule of activities which we managed to always miss and found it always locked. Playground is good. The air hockey tables were old and didn't work very well. In line with the hotel clientele, the evening entertainment is purely family stuff, don't expect much. The wellness centre was closed the entire time. The two adult only sections (roof and "horizon spa" low down the front) did appear to be adult only; not sure what people are complaining about there. But I definitely would not come to this hotel unless I had kids. The trip down to the beach is fine, via either road or steps. My 3yo managed the steps down. Going back up is hard work but doable (I did it via road with a buggy). Taxi up costs 5 euro and is worth it. The beach is nice and there are boat trips / water sports but little else down there. Going further up the hill is a typical Brits-abroad type bar/lounge complex. However, it does have trampolines and a very small outdoor soft play. I didn't think much of the surrounding area in general, a couple of bays over really smelled of eggs (sewage?), it felt touristy and a bit souless. As nice as it was, I'm not sure I would come here again unless they had some more food options. And if I did, I think I would pay for a bigger room.

This is our second visit to this hotel. We came back because we enjoyed it so much the first time in January 2024. It’s improved since then but there’s still a bit of a way to go for us to rate it as a 5 star. As many of the reviews here confirm this hotel offers fantastic views of Puerto Rico bay. Both times we’ve been allocated rooms in block 2 and have had the sun on our balcony until 3pm. There are 2 adult only sections and both offer a total seclusion from the mania of the main pool area where the music and noise is in our view too loud most of the day. The rooms both times have been kept spotlessly clean by the house keeping team. The rooms are well equipped but you may want to take a few of your own hangers - there aren’t many in the wardrobes. In the bathroom there’s complimentary liquid soap and shower gel plus a hair dryer. Not sure if it’s the same at other times of the year but we didn’t have a warm shower in all the time we were there! Expect to be washing your hair under cold water! All staff we found to be friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The food served at all mealtimes was much improved this time we thought. The quality and choices of food were fabulous. The wine, prosecco, beer and spirits we had were all of a decent standard. The restaurant seating area is over a large space and you can eat inside or out. It’s so busy sometimes and it can appear chaotic. This hotel is mostly occupied by families so expect lots of excited kids running between the food stations grabbing what they want the darting in and out of queues to get back to their table. We saw kids running into people carrying hot food and people being knocked out of the way. It’s like an accident waiting to happen. No parental supervision in most cases. No manners and some adults were exactly the same. Just being impatient and pushing in. That’s the bit we think could be easily improved. In the same way there are adult sections in the day we think the dining area could easily be sectioned off for adults only. Although there’s nothing the hotel can do about people’s lack of manners! We won’t be returning in the near future but would certainly recommend it for families. For couples make sure you bag sunbeds in the adult only area during the day to chill with some time for relaxing!

Prachtig hotel, geheel gerenoveerd met echt fantastisch goed eten in het restaurant. Genoeg bedden aan het zwembad, geen handdoekje leggen. Kamers groot en heel verzorgd en netjes. Personeel heel vriendelijk, gemotiveerd en behulpzaam. Samengevat; super kwaliteitsbeleving waar veel hotels nog iets van kunnen leren. Enige minpunt is dat het hoog op een berg ligt en er geen faciliteiten op loopafstand zijn. Daarnaast zijn er met name veel jonge gezinnen met kleine kinderen waardoor het soms chaotisch/onrustig was in het restaurant.
